This was an Arby's? Me and my sister started going here only a month or so ago, and were astonished at this place. The location historically was not much to the eye, but Bistro North overhauled the building, and made it one of the most coveted views in the county. The hostess and server's were incredible, hospitable, helpful, and assisted with the specials and suggestions.
The food here is absolutely worth the ticket price, and stands out from most of the other food I have had in the county. There is a lot of hybrid Asian-esque foods and me and my sister, of which are Asian were pleasantly surprised by this. The food did not feel like a weird combination of foreign and domestic flavors, but a perfected blend of artistry and flavor. It is incredibly hard to find items that can do this. The non-Asian menu items are also just as incredible, each being portion sizes above what you could expect with the price. It's not a chicken nugget on a 12" dinner plate, you get what you buy in flavor, quality, quantity, and display. The truffle fries have become a favorite of ours. They are crispy on a level that is indescribably just, perfect. The balance of truffle flavor is great, the provided sauce is incredible, and again that crispiness is just insane.
The beverages are very fun, and very new. Each one has a very unique flavor. I tended to order sweeter beverages, which may be too sweet for some; They do however offer incredible relief on hot days. The fruit tastes real, and really enhances the flavor of each beverage in a fantastic way. I absolutely can't wait to come back and tick of the rest.
The atmosphere of the place really depends on where you are seated. We were first sat next to the windows on a hot sunny afternoon overlooking the highway and towards Buffalo, and it was perfect. The second time we were sat closer to the center of the building away from windows looking towards the parking lot. Honestly though, both were great. The way this place was designed is efficient feeling, spacious, and a great amalgamation of...
Read moreThe service was excellent, the server was knowledgeable and attentive. Unfortunately, every other part of the experience was frankly disappointing. Given the menu pricing and high-end ingredients described therein, I was expecting a fabulous meal. Unfortunately, from drinks, to appetizers, to dinner, we received anything but. First, the drinks: I ordered their grapefruit Negroni, which tastes like grapefruit juice with a splash of Campari. I asked for a standard Negroni instead, and received grapefruit juice and gin without the campari. Oook….now the appetizer. Husband ordered a caprese for $16, which was fine but a bit bland. I ordered the beef carpaccio. The portions of beef were so tiny, and the fried carrots were overpoweringly unappetizing, and the crostini tasted like it was fried in old oil. Dinner: husband ordered the paella, I ordered the keema with “tiger shrimp”. My meal was mush, the “jasmine rice” was clearly minute mice or extremely over cooked and mushy and the curry was chalky. The combination of crumbled tofu, chalky thin curry, and mushy overcooked rice made for a bowl of…slop. The shrimp were tasty, however.
My husbands meal was the most unacceptable. It was served in a paella dish with mushy yellow rice burnt to the bottom of a pan covered in what smelled like rancid grease. Over the top of the rice was a “chicken confit” which was just dry unseasoned boiled chicken. The 3 small slices of “andouille sausage” were, without exaggeration, the only edible part of the meal. The manager kindly comped his meal and half of mine (I did eat the shrimp, after all), and somehow we still left with a bill of nearly 100 dollars.
So, if you are looking to spend a little cash to treat your sweetie at a fancy restaurant, I would suggest...

$8) Pineapple Express: Pretty good mocktail, nice and citrusy. 82/100
$10) Caesar Salad: Pretty standard but could use some black pepper, nothing much to write home about, although the parmesan crisp was unique. 73/100
$18) Flatbread: While a little hard to eat, it was sweet and savory and easy to share. 79/100
$34) Scottish Salmon: Flavorful, moist, and cooked to perfection. The risotto was creamy, and blended well with the salmon. 90/100
$42) Sakura Farms Pork Chop: YES! This was great. The pork chop was cooked to perfection, the mashed potatoes were lovely, and the vegetables (spinach & mushrooms) were tasty. I ABSOLUTELY recommend this. 96/100
$9) Crème Brûlée: This was AWESOME. Not overtly sweet, and you could taste that it was freshly made. 95/100
Service: Our server was Cody, and he was great. He was very helpful, nice, and honest, and we were happy to have him. Food was served at a decent rate, the entrées taking longer than the appetizers as expected, but it felt relaxing and not at all like we were being rushed. 86/100
Ambiance: It was friendly, warm, and not too loud, although the lighting might make it harder for people with bad eyesight to read the menu. 91/100
Overall: If you want somewhere to relax and have great food, this place fits the bill. 90/100
