This is a multi use, multi level building. There is a wonderful military museum on the ground floor. As with most Veterans Halls, this one has a commercial kitchen and several meeting rooms. There are many activities all month long, throughout the year. The first Sunday of every month is the pancake breakfast. The price is reasonable and the food is good. Served by local veterans and their families. My wife and I go every month. The VFW meets here as does the Viet Nam era veterans and other veterans groups. There are memorials for all of the major war's with names of the local children who were lost. The most recent is the Memorial for the fighting in the Gulf War. A bench that was dedicated just last month. Our local chapter of Operation M.O.M. was the leading agency on that one. Read moreOur grandson 13 my husband and I went into the Sonora Military Museum. It was full of interesting artifacts representing all branches of the service. It has ns of uniforms and accessories and memorabilia. The displays were informative and I loved how personal they are with names of soldiers who wore them. The women who served were represented and loads of photos. We also saw an old Nazi uniform artifact .
