My daughter and I love this place. We've been in a couple times before because the history and the tunnel underground is so cool. Sitting and reading by the waterfall downstairs is absolutely refreshing. My daughter loves the ice cream and I love the old style bar the ice cream is served at. The character of the place alone is worth visiting. We found a number of books that we fell in love with including some really old ones I remembered as a kid. Then the antiquey type of collection is cool as well. They have a carved hope chest I will probably be coming back for. It looks hand carved and the inside is cedar lined.
