You are so right! Let me correct myself.
The "only" esthetician they have is unable to perform simple tasks such as showing up on time, charging people the correct amount, creating a relaxing environment, and handling criticism. Furthermore they are the owners daughter. Makes sense how they got the job. Rachael was late on the very first appointment, overcharged me, and overall did not create a relaxing environment due to their heavy breathing and bad breath during the appointment. For anyone reading the services they provide, as well as time frames, please take into account that it takes them 55 minutes of set up and clean up. The 1 hour and 30 minutes, plus 20 minutes of acupressure is not the time that you are paying for. You will only receive 53 minutes of that.
Thinking Rachael might have been having an off day, I booked with her again. Booking nearly a month in advance and an accidental reminder the week before your appointment is not enough. Apparently she only shows up to work when she feels like it.
And as if this wasn't a job, it will highly inconvience her if you are unable to come at the only time and date that she sends you. Make sure not to have a special schedule of requesting anything during the week before 12:00 in the afternoon.
Once again, I cannot speak on their other services or staff members, but I would not recommend booking with Rachael. So if you are going to get a facial, go anywhere else. (Sadly Tiffany with the good reviews no longer works there to my...
Read moreI went to Katie last week for a long haircut and style. I had quite long hair, about 4 inches below my bra. I told Katie that I want my hair to be bra strap length, I even specifically told her that I want my hair to be the same length as hers (medium length, I'm guessing around bra strap length) and she did an initial chop of about 4 inches. I told her that the length was PERFECT right where she made the initial chop. I told her that I style my hair in a voluminous, 90s blowout style using a round brush and big velcro rollers.
I now have hair that is just past shoulder length. Maybe 2.5 inches past my shoulders. I can't do a blowout, the volume at the roots makes my hair so short and it looks so ugly. My rollers are now too big for my hair. I had such beautiful hair that I grew out for four years, and now I'm back to square one. I initially thought my hair was a bit longer than it seemed since she had curled it at the end, but when I went home and washed it, I saw the true length and was really sad. I can't even put it in a low bun.
I'm not sure what advice I'd give you, other than to go to someone other than Katie if you prefer to keep your hair long. Or know what a "90s supermodel" style blowout is. She'll style your hair like it's 2015 and you're going...
Read moreCanât remember her name but the âlash techâ you set me up with said âyouâre just not a good fit for lash extensions.â I know that actually means, âIâm too proud to admit that Iâm not good at installing lash extensions. Itâs my fault that you always need a full set when itâs time for a fill. I should do better.â And yes I did wait a long time to say something, I donât care. Better late than never. And I did say I wanted another appointment, and she said I never did. I sent a message that had two sentences and she only replied to one of them. Again, thatâs her fault, not mine. I did my job of communicating, she didnât do her job of listening. I always wonder if she was doing a bad job on purpose to scam me out of more money, or if she was actually just bad at her job. Replying to your reply; That was not a âprofessional recommendation,â that was an excuse. I know people with all the same âhealth factorsâ as me whose lash extensions last longer, and they go to someone else to get them, or do it themselves. If I can do them myself with a kit from Amazon, there is no excuse for a âprofessionalâ not being able to. And I assure you I was cleaning them every day, because I do not want an infection and to possibly go blind. Letâs be...
