Yet another good restaurant in a county with limited options that is staring down the barrel of a gun wielded by the totalitarian governor of this state and his mandate that he save our lives from something that never threatened us. But he will save us, even if it means killing us. The place was dead on the day I went, barely surviving with a couple staff handling primarily take out orders. Rumor is that supply issues due to the response to the “pandemic” is threatening their menu in the coming week. The salsa was good; a little heavy on the acid and light on salt and cilantro. The cabbage was good; a little heavy on the chilies and light on cilantro. I had the burrito grande. The pork was tender and flavorful. The rice and beans were of good quality. The pico was properly balanced and not used as an overwhelming filler. My only problem was perhaps a slight under saucing of the salsa verde. The service was good overall, with an attentive staff. uhm, got chicken strips off the KIDS menu because i wasn’t feeling good & needed something a bit light, asked them to put it in a to-go box for when i get home because i couldn’t eat at the time i was in the restaurant, 2 hours later after i’ve been home i get really hungry, go to heat them up & realized they are weirdly soft (not like they forgot to cook them up bc they were warm at the restaurant when i checked) look inside, raw! how delightful…. i’m just glad a kid wasn’t served these…still eating them once i cook them i’m too hungry for this, $9 chicken strips too…

Took my lil girls there on the way to Tioga pass. Ate outside in the patio area.. weather was perfect; food was delish, service was great and friendly. They played Mexican Ranchera music..in low setting. You could hear the music but it wasn't deafening ; so it was a relaxing setting. We ordered Chile Rellenos, Chile Verde.. really good flavors. Perfect lil place.

Went to a Jardin to enjoy a michelada and food but the food was terrible an they still charge me for the food this is not acceptable the michelada were good but the beans and rice were spoiled. Also we told the lady there was a mosquito on our beans and she just gave me another beans. And the customer service was horrible they had faces like there not happy or something wrong is going on on there life's but any ways this is going for people that work in restaurants smile . And the customer is not there foult your passing for a bad day. We notified the boss boy themat the beans were spoiled he decided to give a 15%off when I took only one sample of the bean deep and the beans and rice from the fish taco order that I purchased I am a cook and I know between good beans and bad beans I feelt offended because Im a cook and I know when I see good food and bad food. So for all you travelers and people that love Mexican food El Jardin is not the answer just...

Lukewarm and mediocre chilli relleno, a burrito that was little more than overcooked meat in a tortilla without anything else, and salsa that tasted like I was going to have food poisoning in the morning. All wrapped up with a bow of rude service who forgot to even bring my little sister her glass of water until we asked twenty minutes later. I've been here many times recently, each time hoping it would be as good as it used to be. It's been worse each time. The only thing that made it passable was the drinks. I've had better for half the cost. Don't waste your time, money, or the health of your...
