The District 20 Megaplex — Attraction in South Jordan

Love the District megaplex theaters in South Jordan. We have seen a few movies over the last few months with different family members. We love it when the older employees are there to scan your tickets or phone there very friendly and helpful. Wish they will bring back there super nachos? Better coke drinks would be greatly appreciated. Theaters and bathrooms are clean like it was before covid shut them down. When scanning our ticket code it would be much easier if you simply scan it once without changing the screen twice. My husband and I saw The sound of freedom it’s about children sold into the sex slavery. This is not my type of show but we wanted to support Tim Ballard I seen him once a year and he is the real deal modern day hero. It’s heart wrenching to believe this is still happening today especially in the US. I have heard many of his missions from Tim himself and it’s difficult to believe. I went to relive a childhood dream at the 20th Anniversary of Star Wars. I bought the tickets at the theater a few days prior with no contact from the staff asking if I needed help or just to say hello. It feels as though you are an unwanted guest. The staff were not trained properly for their duties. The food was missing condiments, but the worse part was the female manager who stated that the lightsaber I brought to show my kids a fun time at the movies was a dangerous object that I could bludgeon another person with. Her entire response was with a smug attitude that she was proud of what she had done and after I stated that I was going to comply she continued to stare at me. I think she was trying to present authority, but it came off as sad and creepy. A real Karen moment. I urge other to go to other theaters to have a more pleasant movie...

Came to watch Scoob! today with my son and some family. It was a typical movie experience to get in and the staff was very friendly. However there are many things that were lacking here compared to the other movie theaters I have been to. The seats were comfortable but small and so close together where as at others like Cinemark or AMC you pay the same price for your own recliner chair perfectly spaced out. Another thing is that the popcorn here is okay but no where as good as other places. But here is the thing that make me lower my rating the most. Upon walking out after the movie, there was a used condom right in the middle of the doors. Not only where there people working on landscape out side there was also many employees that could of seen it but it was just there. Very unfortunate.
