Cold Stone Creamery — Restaurant in South Jordan

If I could leave zero stars I would. On numerous occasions we've ordered from here and either they've forgot things, got the order completely wrong, or we've ordered the latger size cup and there's barely anything in it, barely enough to even fit the small size. Then we call and the phone rings a couple times and then hangs up, you can't reach ANYONE there. We even went in one time after we ordered cause they forgot things and gave us small servings, and there was 3 people working but were too interested in talking to each other and looking at their phones to even help us. They didn't even acknowledge me when I came in, I stood there for 5 minutes while they laughed and joked around, I had to literally get their attention for them to even notice me. Last night was the final straw, we ordered again, and the cups came extremely short. And like I said, you can't contact anyone. The phone just rings and hangs up constantly. We will be reaching out to someone even if we have to drive in again cause this is completely ridiculous. My kids and I all love Cold Stone. We’ve been going to different locations in Utah for years, since we’ve moved around a lot. It’s so disappointing that this location at The District isn’t good. The vibe with the staff isn’t welcoming. We feel like we should apologize for coming in and placing an order. My 12 year old didn’t understand how to explain it other than “well they aren’t very nice”. They aren’t. They never seem to be at this location. Tonight, and this has happened two other times, we tried to order door dash. There was 25 minutes left before they stopped taking orders. I tried multiple times to place the order but kept getting a response informing me the location is too busy to accept orders. So, I called and shared my concern. It was not busy, per the person I spoke with. I asked if they could remove that order block. I was told that’s a Door Dash issue. So, I placed the order on Uber Eats. It processed and should have been delivered in 20 minutes. At about 20 minutes I received a notification that my order was not able to be processed. We stopped here for dessert after dinner at the Angry Korean. The line was shorter than normal for a Coldstone, and it moved quickly. We sampled the Chocolate Cupcake ice cream (which was basically just chocolate), the Classic Cookie Dough, and the Milk & Cookies. I got a combination of the cookie dough and milk & cookies with Oreos and fudge. It was delicious! My husband got cheesecake with butterfinger and oreo. The employees were friendly enough. Last time we came to this location (probably two years ago) the employee had sticky hands and made our cups sticky and didn’t clean off the stone before making our ice cream, and the tables were disgusting. We were super grossed out and didn’t come back until tonight. This time it was clean and the service was better. The downside was my husband’s ice cream was not mixed well, and there wasn’t enough seating. There was only one family and one couple sitting, and the there was nowhere to sit.
