Ashley Store + Outlet — Attraction in Spartanburg

One star because there is no zero for a review . In july of last year my husband and I visited the Spartanburg store in hopes of buying some near furniture for our sunroom. We we unsure of the furniture we choose would fit, but our associate Mason informed us that if not, it wasn’t a problem, we could return it. So we decided to make the purchase. We were told there would be some delays and that it would be October before we would receive the furniture. With that knowledge, we still continued with the purchase. October came and went, and yep, no furniture! So in November, my husband made a called both the local store and corporate, but neither could tell him a date for delivery. By this time, I was getting extremely aggravated, I had already waited 4 months, and now I’m hearing they have no idea when I’ll get my furniture! Finally in December my husband spoke with customer service and was told that all items were in stock and we could schedule a delivery date. So we picked a date and he called back only to be told there was no record of the previous conversation, and only part of the order was ready for delivery! As frustrated as I was, I decided to set up a delivery for what they did have in stock, and then just wait for the rest. I wanted all the pieces I had intentionally orders! So, the partial order was delivered, with very little help from the delivery team. They basically dropped it off and left. Of course, like I was afraid of, the furniture didn’t fit. But I was told we could exchange it, so I wasn’t too worried. However, several phone calls, by my husband, and speaking to several different people, both on the phone and in the store, I am stuck with furniture that doesn’t fit, they are refusing to let us exchange or return it! I will never make another purchase from Ashley Furniture, nor would I recommend anyone else to...

I had an excellent experience at Ashley Furniture thanks to Christine. From the moment my wife and I walked through the door, she greeted us warmly and made us feel right at home. She patiently guided us through various options, pointing out pieces that not only matched our individual styles but also worked well together in terms of color and design. Christine suggested some beautiful combinations that we hadn’t considered, which made the decision-making process much easier and more enjoyable.

Since this was our first time buying furniture, I really appreciated Christine's knowledge and her willingness to educate us about the different materials and styles available. She answered all our questions without being pushy, allowing us to take our time and feel confident in our choices. Plus, her offering us water during our visit was a thoughtful touch that made us feel even more welcome.

In the end, we found the perfect pieces that we both loved, and I walked away feeling excited about our purchase. I would highly recommend Christine to my family and friends, as her outstanding customer service truly made a difference in our experience. ✨️UPDATE✨️ We ordered 1 extra center piece for our sectional, and because of that, we had to wait until it came in around the 21st of December, we ordered the sectional on November 12th. We THOUGHT that's not so bad... At least we will have it by Christmas... 🥺 BUT NO, Here we are, literally 2 months later, still no update on our purchase, so we drove to the store (40 mins away) and asked what the deal was? We were told everything should be in that week or the next, as I'm typing the "next week." Has passed, Still no update, calling customer service is a waste of time, they will not connect you to the store and they will not tell you anything... i mean, we spent like 3,600 on this sectional. You'd think they would be more willing to give you your order. Therefore, I'm only giving 3 stars now instead of 5. Only because the wait has taken way too long. 😔 the staff at the store is amazing, but bc of this ridiculous long wait. I have to drop stars..
