Something to do with your kids in #spartanburg #southcarolina 🤗 The greenville location is AWESOME, but Spartanburg is best for those with crawling babies so baby + young toddler has something to do #childrensmuseum #thingstodo #thingstodoinsc

I truly enjoyed celebrating my Sista's son birthday here. First, the staff was very friendly. It's small but so cute. It does have a main floor plus downstairs. On the main floor they had little stuff animals, a play area with balls and other learning tools on the wall. They had a cash register, a stove with pots and pans. I guess you can say it was a grocery store where the kids can pick up items and place them at the register or cook. Downstairs was very fun. It had an area for the kids to sit in the chairs and play with the boats in the water and they had a big castle. The kids could put on outfits, crawl through the castle and climb. It was really nice. The bathrooms, very clean. Overall, I would definitely recommend if you are in Spartanburg, SC to visit. Oh and before I forget they do host parties downstairs in the party room

Absolutely stunning water feature in basement Upstairs was a mess, no one was picking up after their kids and staff was just sitting around the front. The train table is amazing as well! Kiddos seemed to enjoy the cute treehouse! Recommend another trash can and hand washing/sanitizing station downstairs - there was only 1 and the only trash is in the restroom. Please police people to clean up or have staff putting stuff back so the kids can enjoy it. We spent 15 mins putting the food back in the shop and still didn't finish. Bathroom downstairs covered in water (expected) and had 2 stools for kids to use, changing pad and diaper genie. Ok been here 2 hours and someone is finishing up the tidying we did when we first came in. There's a soggy food specimen under the treehouse 🤢

I’d like to start by saying we love the Greenville location but decided on Spartanburg because it’s centered around smaller children. We had my daughter’s second birthday here on Saturday, we paid $300 for the party itself which included 30 people. Luckily we didn’t have 30 people because the party was thrown in an already small room that had random stuff piled up on the counters and in the corners. It looked like we were using their storage room. There was one bench and maybe 10 chairs for adults and big kids to sit and no tables for them. People had to hold their plates or eat standing. Online it also says they will do it all. Decorating- there were no decorations. At all. Not even table clothes, the table was wrapped in brown paper.-themed party- also a no. We had random blue plates, the kids had a small easel plate. And solo cups. That’s all. I also paid extra for crafting. Well crafting is apparently printed coloring pages with old paint, stamps and crayons. It’s also a far stretch to say it was hosted by them as it definitely was not. The museum part itself was fantastic. But we would not have another party here and would not recommend. I’ve been looking at reviews online from others parties and seeing where they did have decorations and the room was not full of junk. I feel like my child’s party was thrown together and we did not get our...

Let me start this review by saying the vast majority of the people who work here are fantastic and have been more than kind to my family and I. But unfortunately, 1 bad apple can ruin the bunch. It is almost time for us to renew our membership and we came in today to have our son play, and to ask a few questions. We’ve been members for quite some time and were curious on some of the pricing, but apparently that was too much to ask as this person made me and my family feel incredibly unwelcome. When I asked why she was treating us like we didn’t belong here, she said she’s sorry I felt that way and that maybe we shouldn’t ask questions so aggressively? Huh?? in the most condescending way possible. Well thankfully the Greenville location answered the same questions with no issues, but she single handedly ruined our thought to renew. Who wants to have their kids play somewhere where they don’t feel welcomed? That being said, the 4 stars are for all the staff that have been wonderful and the facilities provided, and the star missing belongs to “Erin”, who I hope no family has to deal with...

My 1.5 year old son and I came here on a Sunday for a birthday party and playtime. We have a membership to the Children's Museum of the Upstate, but we'd only ever been to the museum in downtown Greenville. We like the museum in downtown Greenville, but we LOVE this museum.

The Children's Museum of the Upstate- Spartanburg was designed for children under the age of 5. They have two designated baby spaces (under 18 months). They have a huge kitchen space, a treehouse with slides, tons of books, blocks, an enormous train table, and a water table that could accommodate babies and toddlers alike. We had such a good time!

The birthday party was fine. The museum provided activities that were excellent for an older age group, but my son did not seem to enjoy. We felt very rushed, especially about the cake and pizza part, because the room was only available for one hour. The birthday kid didn't even have a chance to open his presents! But most of the frustration was likely due to the age of the guests and the unpredictability of what all the toddlers wanted and needed at...
