I so wanted to give them 5 stars.. But unfortunately, I am unable. The long and short of it is AVOID THESE CROOKS! They will break your computer, then charge you for the items they break. For the details, sit back and buckle in, this is a long one here.
I brought in my laptop to get the keyboard key repaired. The "A" key was messed up and they said that they needed to replace the whole keyboard. I understood, so I said, "Ok. Not a problem" and I allowed them to replace the keyboard.
I get a call that it's done 2 days later (It was overnighted). I walk in and get hit with a shop fee (that I didn't know about). Yeah, it was $7, but still. Also, the guy who was helping me suggesting I buy a new laptop.. Yeah.. For 1 keyboard, that doesn't make sense, so I was a little hesitant at that point. Thankfully, Dan took charge and told Leonard to handle it.
Anyway, I told Sam (the only one there on the Saturday we picked it up) that the keyboard backlight wasn't working. He said it was and while I couldn't see it, it was around 5pm (They are open until 5:30pm on Saturday despite what the sign says) and a sunny day, so I thought perhaps I couldn't see it in the shop. So I paid for the keyboard and went on my way.
Got it home and yup. No keyboard light at all. So I call them Monday and spoke to the manager (Glenn I believe the name was) and he said I needed to bring it back in and they will try another keyboard. I figured it was possible it was a dud, so I went in and they replaced it (taking another day).
When I got it back, it still wasn't lighting up.. So I took it home and they said they would order the keyboard from a different supplier as it's possible that that supplier just had a bad batch.
About a week later, they say that it's working and to help me with reducing travel fees (It costs me about $50 to take a lyft to their place as public transportation isn't available for me), they would come out to the house. Cool.
So Dan comes out with the new keyboard and replaces it. Nothing. But he notices that if you press hard on the keyboard in a certain place, it lights up. So he was thinking perhaps the connection is too thin. He says that he will come out and replace it with one directly from Dell.
So another 2 weeks pass and they call and tell me they have the good keyboard, but Glenn doesn't want me to have it repaired there. I suspect there is no keyboard and they didn't want me to see them not replacing it, but I have no proof of this.
Had to go to the store to pick it up and found that yup. No keyboard light. They said it must be something on the motherboard that broke and they can order me a new one and I can pay to have them fix it..
Just to be clear, the backlight was working when it was brought in. It stopped working when I went to get it the first time (even though Sam was swearing that it was working).
So.. Yeah. Unless you want your computer to be WORSE than when you brought it in, AVOID THESE CROOKS. They will break things, then attempt to charge you for them breaking it.
I can not stress this enough. Avoid them. If you bring it here, you will...

I brought my iPad Mini 2 in to have a cracked screen replaced. They 'diagnosed' it, ordered a digitizer, and upon replacing the screen 'discovered' that the LCD was suddenly broken. They ordered a replacement screen, and although I had now paid $310 for a device that is $260 brand new, I was happy to have it home.
Then I discovered the new screen had bars across it, dead pixels, and HAIR stuck under the screen. Management assured me they did post install checks - which seems rather unlikely given that hair was left under the screen.
Their resolution was to offer to order another LCD screen, and hopefully in another 2 weeks replace it correctly this time.
I told them I'd rather just bite the money on the digitizer and get a refund on the (incorrectly) done labor and improperly installed/broken LCD. They refused and said I could either bring it in to let them try to fix it again, or essentially 'suck it'.
As someone who ran a computer repair shop for multiple years, this is pretty unacceptable. As a business owner, it's pretty standard to issue refunds when jobs go bad. It happens, it's part of the industry. When someones even willing to eat some of the cost to meet you halfway, you jump on that.
At this point I'm better off eating the $300+ I spent, throwing my ipad in the garbage, and ordering a new one from amazon.
If you read this far, you probably know - but this is not the place to get your...
Read moreTook my computer in, as it was locking up after about 60 seconds. Told the manager to check the hard drive first, as I was pretty sure that was the problem. Said it would be ready in a couple days. After a WEEK, they called and picked up my pc. They said the hard drive tested fine, they had to re-install windows at a cost to me over $100.00. I was very annoyed, as they did not consult me first, I could have re-installed windows myself. Took it home, turned it on. It locked up after about 60 seconds after several attempts. I called them, and some snotty kid answered. After I told him it was NOT fixed he said sarcastically, "Well it worked here, you must have a voltage problem with your outlet." I told him my outlet was checked and was fine. My computer needed to work HERE. I asked to talk to the manager, and after being kept on hold forever, the manager said he couldn't talk to me now he was with a customer and would call me back in a few minutes. Never called back. It took a week of phone calls to finally get him on the phone. By that time, I had replaced the hard drive myself, reinstalled windows, and it worked perfectly. I pointed this out to him and reminded him I told him to check the hard drive first, and I never approved a windows re-install. He was very argumentative and refused to consider a refund of any kind, then hung up on me. This was the WORST experience I've ever had with a PC repair. Friendly? No. Incompetent? Absolutely. Run...
