This morning 7/03/24 I came into Myers at 6am. To get right to the point. I needed a bottle of Lucas injector cleaner. So I grab a bottle. Which I buy the stuff all the time. It seems to do pretty well on my high milage cars and trucks. While I was looking at other stuff on shelves. I shook bottle. Habbit!! The top was not tighten nor was there a seal over opening. Which I believe none of the bottles have a seal. They should! So oil was splash onto me shirt and shorts and my favorite flops. I didn't scream or make a scene. But I did need to get personal because there's oil all over floor and every where else. All someone had to do is walk through it and slip and fall and that could opening up alot of doors. Media hears about it. Lawsuit! So I was able to get manager over here. But I stayed here until someone got here so nobody slips and get hurt. I explained and showed what happened to me and oil splash everywhere else. Especially floor. After talking management. All I got was thank you. That's it. It's like the attitude was poor and my clothes getting ruined. And what's funny I'm wearing the shorts and shirt that got ruined. I purchased from here about month ago.. I wasn't expecting anything. But dang show little concern. I mean your employees should be checking tops to make sure there secure. And maybe Lucas should start putting seals on there bottles. But like I say. It's your world. I...
Read moreI have been going to Meijer for years, and was always happy with the store. Onl reason I'm giving three stars: first of all, because of Covid and having a compromised condition, my daughter has been kind enough to get whatever I need. Today I was in town, needed just a few items, put mask on and went in. Mind you, I've been going there for YEARS, walked in today and felt like I was in Neverland! The entire store has been changed, possibly due to Covid, could not find anything other than grocery section (pretty much the same), had two people stop me to ask if I knew where something was. In March, I could have told them where ANYTHING was, heck, I couldn't find half of what I wanted and with virus wanted to make my trip as quick as possible. Like I said, may have rearranged due to Covid, but for people like me and apparently others it was like walking into the Twilight Zone! Just wish they would have kept things as people are used to, people are afraid to go out at all let alone spend an extra 30 minutes plus looking for things they used to be able to go right to. In Meijer's defense, stopped in at Sam's Club and same thing. Perhaps it's for a reason, but for SAFETY purposes, wait until threat is over so people don't have to spend anymore time than they have to...
Read moreThis used to be the only grocery store we shopped at but I will not be returning after today. I needed an electric cart as I have a recent injury and cannot walk in the store. On my first trip to the store, there was only one cart and it was not charged. Today when I went, they were no carts available and no greeter to ask to help me. I ended up asking the cashier and her name was Abby and she was wonderful but I still had to wait about 15 minutes before they could locate a cart and she found the cart when someone was leaving the store for me. And there was another gentleman waiting for cart beside me as well. By the time I got my cart, my husband had finished shopping, but was Unable to locate some of the items. I therefore we just went without them and I ended up giving the card to the gentleman that had been waiting. Since they do not have enough available cards or working carts, I won’t be returning to that store. And I attempted to call the manager, and they never picked up the phone so that was a waste of time. I am so disappointed as that was the only store we ever went to...
