This mall is probably the best small we have in Louisville. It's got stores like hot topic and Spencers to stores like EarthBound and New York and Company there are also stores like Torrid and Lane Bryant there's an H&M at PacSun and the Victoria's Secret. Plus many many more. You can even find a pretty decent food court with at least nine different places to choose from. There is a few CD stores in there which I thought were all gone. There's a Starbucks there's some hat stores and athletic stores including a Claire's and the icing. There's also Sears and Dillard's for men and women. It's pretty huge so if you're looking for a place but small I wouldn't suggest this mall but if you want to walk around for a while check out what's going on I totally recommend it. There are a few public bathrooms in there that are usually clean but last time I went in one very very foul that won't go into it but it needed to be cleaned and I tried to find a guard or an employee to tell but no one seemed to be want to be on it or tell someone to go clean it which I found a little disgusting specially if a child walked into that particular restroom. There's also restaurants on the outskirts of the small that are all pretty good for chain restaurants. Especially El Nopal! Great margaritas! There's also a lot of little kiosks in the middle or you can get Hot Nuts massages string eyebrow waxing and even calendars at certain times of the year. Small also during the seasons has an Easter Bunny and Santa Claus and don't know if there's any others but I know those exist during the holidays. Great place for teens and adults and kids even they even have the little electric animals you can pay for your kid to ride on through the mall to keep them occupied. Oh and there's also I believe it's in the small cool hair cutting skateboard hybrid shop for kids can come and skate and get their haircut. This is my favorite mall by far even though I'm not a mall person. And they just put a movie theater a few years in oh and there's an Express. Visit it it's worth it. And if you can't find what you want there's Oxmoor mall right next door pretty much and that's where Sephora is. There may even be a Sephora in that mall it's been a bit since I've been there but I love going there during sail times because the sales are to-die-for...

Read moreI have often shopped at Mall St. Matthews as I live very close by. Recently I had surgery and cannot walk outside with my dog. I took him to Mall St. Mattews and there are no postings on the outside doors about service animals only, I checked. While I was there, we walked the mall and Griffyn spread holiday cheer, we stopped numerous times for people to pet him, for him to practice sit, stay, walk, right & left. We did as intended, we got exercise and spread many smiles and holiday warmth. Today, unfortunately, our 4th visit; during the miserable rain & cold, we were asked to leave as Griffyn is not a service dog, nor is he a certified therapy dog yet. I am very sad, we had so much fun spreading happiness and we also noticed that in December there are several 'pet nights with Santa'. Is this night specifically for service pets? The sign did not indicate that this is the case. How are responsible pet owners supposed to prepare their dog for a visit with Santa in a completely foreign environment if they are not allowed to practice? I will still shop at the Mall St. Matthews, but my desire to just visit the mall and window shop has been seriously and detrimentally affected by the experience with the mall security person who asked me to leave and then informed me that he was only enforcing rules after he inquired as 'this is not my mall....' The staff of specific stores and many passerbys will have to perform their duties this holiday season without the joy of seeing a large, friendly and comforting Saint Bernard. Sincerely, Mary...
