I’ve had a few negative experiences at Bank of America. My parents chose to do their banking with them before health challenges hit. Even though we’ve taken all legal steps for my brother and me to be on their accounts, they’ve still required I have my dad transported in his wheelchair (he’s had both legs amputated, has a colostomy, catheter, etc.) to join me for transactions. Today I’m taking the time to share because I went to check on a small account my mother and aunt, both now deceased, shared. It was only a few hundred dollars, but without notice became an account that charged $25 per month. So, Bank of America kept the money and closed the account without notifying us. I also had to deposit a check for my dad today. The lady at the counter sent me to the lady in the office who sent me back to the counter.... Honestly, if I ever meet one kind person there I’ll be so happy. Actually, the security guy greeting you was nice. The banking issues, however, add unnecessary stress. My husband and I have always used UMB, and I’m reminded of my gratitude for our decision every time I encounter this...

And when I did they told me to visit the bank as they couldn’t verify me on the phone apparently . Because of some fraudulent claim . I didn’t even report any fraudulent activity or losing my card. They just assumed since i swiped the card in another city and made it hella inconvenient. You guys really need to get your act together .
