I was out of work for last 2 yrs. I had a prescription left to pick up of which I left a pretty big deposit on along with my very own name brand frames to have my lenses put in. I recently called about it, as finally found a new job. I was told my deposit was list as well as the doctor of the facility took MY FRAMES that I paid $450 elsewhere to bring there and have new prescription, my frames were donated on their behalf! What type of nonsense is that! They had no authority to donate property that did not belong to them! They were mine. Im filing a BBB as well as consumer affairs and pocono medical boards. # they claimed they called, they did not, the # they claimed they called had been changed over 5 yrs ago! So that was a lie. They never contacted my cell phone in regards to my glasses to be picked up, yet they text my mobile # plenty of times advise of them calling. Yet they had no problem texting my mobile # which they also had to text and advise my daughter she was due for her eye exam. Yet I wasn't contacted for my glasses or deposit It's funny had I only left $29 deposit required to place my order, they most definitely would have communicated with me in regards to my order, but since I left a pretty decent amount practically paying my whole balance they decided not to contact me.. also in regards to DONATING MY FRAMES WHAT TYPE OF NONSENSE IS THAT. First off lenses were put in how, were they going to return custom prescription and frames that did not belong to them. They have my address and insurance on file. The ethical thing was to mail them back to me or call my mobile phone, text, leave message which they never did. Now I have to take legal action. I use to like this place, but this unethical manner of how they addressed a patient who had lost her employment was down...
Read moreDr. Glasser bought the practice from Doctor Decidue. Dr. Glasser and his wife who's his assistant are friendly enough, and can be very informative when need presents itself. I continue going after Dr Decidue left, out of habit. When Covid-19 hit, like most people, I hadn't been to any doctor and I was still skeptical. When I went it was routine, but I was told I would need to return because I needed a Glaucoma examine as well, and would need to be dilated. So, I came back two weeks later and to my surprise I was introduce to a student intern who was going to be doing my dilation. He did with no assistant and no one there to monitor him? He couldn't get the reading right, and dilated me again, so with two dilation and not really able to focus we went through with the rest of the exam. When I asked the doctor is that normal practice, the assured me he was okay to do that on his own, (he was related to one of them) NOT! They sent me a survey soon after about my visit and I went off! I haven't...
Read moreDr. Glasner has always been very thorough with his work and provides useful information to his clients. His front desk staff, on the other hand, don’t care about the clients. Once they kept my insurance card in my file instead of giving it back to me. Even if they found it after I left, they didn’t even bother to call me so I could’ve picked it up. I’ve had quite a number of doctor’s visits after that when I needed to present my card. I have been looking for it for about 2 years and couldn’t figure out where it was. It was only when my son went to get checked that they gave it to him. No apologies either. I wish I was there to confront them about it. Another occasion they booked an appointment for me two months away after my eye surgeries even after I explained that my vision had totally changed and I couldn’t go out or drive a car until I had my glasses corrected. I hope I will like the new place where I was able to make a more immediate...
