Inis Spa — Attraction in Surf City

When you read this review, please know that I am a licensed esthetician. I am reviewing my new personal esthetician, Mary at Inis Spa. This part is important because as an esthetician I’m extremely selective over who I allow to treat my skin.

Mary has decades of experience and training that go far beyond what I have found in any other esthetician I know. She takes the time to evaluate and treat your individual skin care concerns and needs. This is important because every client is unique. Mary will not give you a cookie-cutter facial. She will give you a custom facial specifically for your skin. And it might even be different from one visit to the next because your skin changes. It can and will change with the seasons, diet, and hormones. Mary’s custom facial will always be exactly what your skin needs.

I waited a while to post this review. I can't remember the woman's name who did my massage. The service itself was just ok. She relied on cupping for the better part of the massage. The thing that made this massage horrible was the woman herself. She acted like I was disgusting and she didn't want to touch me. My feet were hurting so bad so I really wanted attention in that area and she just acted like she wanted to physically recoil when I said that. As soon as my service was over I got dressed. I barely cracked my door open and she began demanding payment. My husband was still getting a massage so I had planned on paying together. She just couldn't get that money fast enough. Obviously I will never be returning to this establishment. I felt so self conscious and like something must be wrong with me. I hope no one else treated...

At the last minute me and my friend wanted to get massages and everywhere was booked, but i called Inis and it was amazing. The people were super friendly, the atmosphere was incredible. The massage itself though was one of the best massages i've ever had, and i've gotten MANY massages. The masseuse was very professional but comfortable and made the experiencing even more relaxing. They used massage oils for aromatherapy and they put hot stones on us which was AMAZING! the price i will admit is a little steep, but i do think its worth it.
