Always come back to this place - owner is an awesome gentleman and local surfer. Been coming here since the 90s and can even remember when the arcade was underneath. Although certain brands have come and gone over time (that’s normal business), the integrity of this store remains true. It has to be tough battling larger selections down Wilmington way and the ever-present online retail gobbling possible sales, but this family shop has weathered all the storms (and literal hurricanes!) and is still going strong. You KNOW it’s a great place when they are catching the surf competitions in the office when customers leave. I make it a point to shop here and buy local during any vacation or trip and I recommend any casual or hardcore surfer does as well. I also went as far as trying to order an awesome BZ Bodyboard that had some really sweet colors and Stephen really went far to try and ship it up to PA for me. Although it didn’t work out, it just goes to show that they are willing to go the extra mile for any customer that wants to support their business. Read moreSo we parked at this business since they were closed and there were only 2 cars in the lot. It was 7:30 and the lights were off and the door was locked. We went next doors to have dinner and when we returned some dude approached me and said that they were going to start towing cars that park there after hours. This is no way to run a business.
