I normally love coming to the riverwalk at night with my long board. Around 12am I was on the walk near the park/ampa theater and was yelled and cussed at by security guards who told me “the park is closed” and to come back at 7am. I was not in the park, which I would’ve understood, I was still on the riverwalk. I told them the walk is 24 hours and that I’m allowed to be here, they had a fenced gate set up which I also did not go in nor try to go in and they started cussing me out saying I was trying to enter. I’m not sure if it was because I was on a board but I was not doing tricks, I was not damaging property, and I was not disrupting anyone, I was simply cruising. The riverwalk really needs to work on their security and the people working security, this was ridiculous and I was just trying to have a good night.
