Tampa Riverwalk at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park — Attraction in Tampa

I normally love coming to the riverwalk at night with my long board. Around 12am I was on the walk near the park/ampa theater and was yelled and cussed at by security guards who told me “the park is closed” and to come back at 7am. I was not in the park, which I would’ve understood, I was still on the riverwalk. I told them the walk is 24 hours and that I’m allowed to be here, they had a fenced gate set up which I also did not go in nor try to go in and they started cussing me out saying I was trying to enter. I’m not sure if it was because I was on a board but I was not doing tricks, I was not damaging property, and I was not disrupting anyone, I was simply cruising. The riverwalk really needs to work on their security and the people working security, this was ridiculous and I was just trying to have a good night. Keith Betnard one of the heads of security (I’m sorry for incorrectly spelling) was amazing and helped us out with the whole situation, they need more guards like him actually correcting and protecting what needs to be protected, and I truly thank...
