When we were thinking about options to celebrate our wedding, we decided to make a reservation at a local restaurant. We thought about Spain Restaurant because we had our first Valentine’s dinner day there, and we remembered it as a nice experience. Since the first time we called, John, who is one of the owners/managers, was very nice and attentive. We explained to him that we were looking to accommodate a party of about 25 people for our wedding, which was only 3 weeks away. John confirmed they would be happy to reserve the space for us so we scheduled an appointment for the next day. During the meeting John explained in detail what the options were, including the food, beverages menu, and sitting for our guests. We liked these options along with the decorations, ambient and the fact that the restaurant has live music during the weekends, which our guests would enjoy at no extra cost to us. Also worth mentioning the whole cost was within our budget and affordable for what we were getting. One week before our wedding, Florida was hit by hurricane Irma. We thought we were going to have to cancel. After the hurricane passed, we knew we had to check with the restaurant to see if they would still be able to do our reception. Before we contacted them, John called us to let us know everything was still as originally planned and they were ready for our special day. We even called days before to increase the number of guests from 25 to 35 people, and it was not a problem at all. Every time we called with questions or new requests for our reservation, they were super friendly and happy to work with us to make our wedding as special as we wanted it. Our guests had a variety of options to choose from the food menu, and everything was delicious. The sangria and wine were very good too, and the service was phenomenal. During the whole process we felt like all of their attention was centered on us and our wedding, but they actually had another wedding during the same week and were doing the catering for a large event on the same day of our party. We are beyond satisfied to have chosen Spain Restaurant for our wedding celebration and would recommend them for any type of event. Thank you John and the entire Spain...

Read moreCatering Tapas up to 8 are $25 total. I ordered 8 tapas and my bill was $162. That means if you make the mistake of assuming you will get the catering deal (well hidden in the menu) you will pay $20 per tapa. Very deceiving menu but not only that, the food is served on a ceramic white plate that gives it a very unconventional feel in comparison to a real tapa. The food was not good at all, I felt Inwas at a wannabe spanish restaurant that felt more like an american ran “spanish restaurant.” The live music was playing sting songs in a spanish guitar vibe, the guitar player couldn’t take requests because he didn’t even speak spanish and didn’t understand requests (Mine had to be played on spotify). The overall feel of the restaurant left a lot to be desired since we were sat by the waiter in the very corner (behind a wall) despite us having a week old reservation, we had no view of the stage and literally were given the worst spot in the entire table space distribution. In conclusion: my experience left my wife and I with the feeling we were overdressed in a restaurant that gave us the vibe of having walked into Chilli’s instead of a “nice spanish restaurant.” The food was terrible, overprized and the feel was more latin american than a proper european spanish spot. The menu was deceiving and rather than them adjusting the bill out of principle, the waiter acted dumb and apologized for the wrong information on the menu. I have NEVER paid $20 per tapa ANYWHERE in my life. This is the last time I take my wife to this $hit H0/E. This is not about being cheap, it’s about getting boned and overall thinking this place would actually allow us to have a decent date night. Well, we will not ever go back to that place, what a fake in...
