I was very excited about the grand opening of this location. I'm half German and have spent half my life in Germany shopping at ALDI stores. I was disappointed in the organic pesticide free/ non-GMO selection, but what mostly disappointed me was the self-checkouts that are cashless only. Extremely disappointing. ALDI store check outs in Germany all still accept cash. Matter of fact 3 years ago when I lived there last, there were no self-checkouts whatsoever. Apparently ALDI is now supporting the up and coming One World government's ban on cash so they have total control over our finances. Is that what you stand for ALDI? Taking what little freedom we have left? Clearly you want to be part of the problem instead of backing your consumers. Are you receiving government funds to support your switch to cashless payment systems? Consequently my friends and family who are all disappointed about this will discontinue shopping at ALDI stores where we cannot pay with cash, as apparently you've already decided whose...

Not much of a reviewer but I hate seeing people bash on Aldi! I know it might not be for everyone and that’s okay because the store is small and can’t fit all the people who do love it. But wow is this store gaining traction. I love that it’s so close to me.

Aldi is EU based so the standards of use are much different than typical American stores which is part of why I love it so much. I love getting to use my own bags or if I forget, they have so many boxes I can use! I’ve always been one to return my cart but the quarter is more of an incentive to put it back.

I’m not a name brand shopper, and most of the time I’m getting ingredients instead of boxed/processed foods as I like to make as much as I can homemade so I find they always have what I need!

Only bummer is when they have seasonal items I fall in love with, wish I could have the summer iced...

The fact that people are complaining about the shopping carts and lack of bags is astounding. Aldi has been around in Europe and the rest of the USA for a while now, so this isn't a new concept. You do not have to 'rent' a shopping cart, you just have to place a quarter in it so it unlocks from the rest of the carts to prevent theft. Additionally, if you put the cart back where it belongs (which you should be doing) you get your quarter back!!! I'm actually astounded this ALDI has bags to begin with, because the one that I went to back home in Germany did not, so most Americans here are lucky because we did not even have the option of bags. I thoroughly love ALDI's selection of produce, and their frozen desserts are so yummy! With the size of the German selection here it truly makes me feel like I'm...

If I could do no stars i would. This was my first and LAST time shopping at Aldi. Aldi double charged me and I was told nothing will be done about it. I went through self checkout unaware it was CC only so they “terminated” the sale and moved me to a physical check out person where they charged me again. I later went to check my account and was double charged so I waited 7-10 business days for the charge to drop according to there FAQ’s once the charge never dropped I then contacted Aldi customer service and was told someone will reach out, I provided all necessary documentation and a few days later was emailed that I won’t be getting a refund for the double charge. Aldi is a thief!!!! I will no longer shop here.

After hearing reviews from multiple people and online influencers, I finally visited Aldi. Not to mention, this Aldi store recently opened in Tempe! And I must say, they were all right; the combination of high-quality groceries at unbelievably affordable prices is unbeatable. I even stumbled upon my new favorite snack: dark chocolate almonds. Aldi's is fantastic, especially for budget-conscious individuals seeking food and essential items! Side note: Bring a bag ahead of time to pack your groceries in, since they charge for their bags.

Decided to come to Aldi for our first time. This place was awesome but due make sure you bring a quarter for the cart and your own bags so your not charged for bags. This place was fully stocked with everything we set to the store for. Check out went smoothly and employees were nice and eager to assist when we needed assistance. They have everything including wine and beer. We don’t drink but this may be fun for the drinkers. Only got a few videos of the liquor departments but they offer way more. Maybe
