I had a platinum protection plan on my whitman sofa. This all started because the straps underneath broke... They were suppose to send a tech out but canceled on me same day! I had taken off from work to accommodate the technician visit so that was a huge inconvenience. They did make good on that and allowed me to send in photos and made a decision pretty much instantly that the couch needed replacement. It was a black sofa purchased in 2020 and we were moving to a new space and we decided we wanted the same couch but wanted to change it to blue. The company told me originally that was a possibility but then mentioned after my first phone call that it would have to be a "reselect". The original couch I paid $299 for and over the last 4 years the couch price rose from 299$ to $399.That was for black , blue and beige, all the same price. The problem is they wouldnt wipe out the $100 as a wash. I literally begged and pleaded over the phone that your going to give me a black couch worth a value of $399 but wont give me a blue couch for $399?!? I would be forced to only use the $299 credit...and i was willing to purchase 2 more blue chairs on top of everything...and they still couldnt help me. 4 phone calls, 3 different manager...some customer service lady Lynn who needs to come off her high horse and no one could help me! I was seconds away from BBB. Until I walked into the store and met Vlad at Nanuet. He took care of this in minutes. Not only did he manage to make good on the black for blue swap but also was able to price match me on the 2 chairs , pick up the old couch from my old address and deliver the new couches to my new address. He needs a promotion. Thats how you take care of your customers. You get 5 starts because of him. Everyone else i had interactions with can kick rock.. would have given then all 1 star. Read moreI wish I could give NO stars to the Nanuet Store. Worst customer service ever from dealing with Corretta the sevice rep sitting behind the desk to the sales manager Lynn. As a familky we have purchased over 10.000 dollars in R&Fstore. Went to purchase living room/dinng room furniture. I knew it was going to have to be purchased by phone because I was making a purchase on my moms account who is up in age and does not like to go out because of covid. Corrtta who is the customer service rep who called my mom was making faces while on the phone and asking my mom to verify questions in a hurry and was asking incomplete question and when my mom didnt answer quick enough Coretta decided to imput any answer to the question to rush the process. She started demanding that my mom answer the incomplete question because Coretta is not that smart and couldnt pronounce some of the street names associated with the question.Because of her actions the account could not be verified. My mom would have to go into the store .(something we were trying to avoid) The next day i spoke to the sales "manager" around 10am in the morning who assured me she would return my call to see if we could get the matter straight. By 1200 p.m No return call from Lynn. I called her and she stated that she was busy and would get back to me 6 hours later I called her again and she stated she didnt have time to get back to me because she was to busy. Ended up completing this transaction at another R&F in less than 5 minutes. If it wasnt for the persons involved I would have cancled the order. The salesman was very nice. I feel sorry forhim because he is working with a incompetent sales manager and rude customer rep. Because of this expirence as a family we will not be doing businesss with R&F...

I was trying to locate a specific chair that went with a sofa that I had previously purchased at another Raymour & Flanigan location. However, as I was ready to buy the accompanying, matching chair, I learned online that this color of the chair was discontinued. Ugh! Another R&F store told me that they would check to see if any store had a floor model in that color. They were wonderful and told me that I could call the Nanuet store for any questions about the floor model. I quickly called and was connected with Clifford. I explained my situation that it was not an option for me to travel to the location, but I was willing to purchase with the stipulation that I could receive pictures (all angles) of the chair to be sure of the condition of the floor model. He quickly verified that this color of the chair was there, after he put me on a brief hold. Simultaneously, he took several pictures, sent them to my phone, and they arrived as he returned to the call.
After looking at the pics, it was a done deal. Within 30 minutes, the sale was completed and the delivery plans were in place.
I thank Clifford for his professionalism, attention to detail, and efficiency to make this happen since it was THE last chair...
