Cell Phone Fix-ER — Attraction in Town of Clifton Park

Brought my daughters phone in to be repaired, she cracked the led screen but not the top screen while at the great escape on a ride. First I would like to thank Cell Phone Fix-ER to helping us out, There service was amazing, the gentlemen really knew everything about my daughters phone and my phone which is the Galaxy S6 edge. We where greeted with a smile and a very humble voice which made coming there even more of a plus. The store was keep very well, very tidy, clean and neat, even though he didn't have a ton of accessories he had everything for the latest phones out which is all someone needs with new phones coming out like hot cakes. But keep in mind the store is mainly for phone repairs so him having any accessory is also a plus. The gentlemen then looked at my daughters phone and said he could fix it within 30 mins, both me and my daughter were dumfounded. then he actually showed us what he needed to do and brought out the replacement part to fix her phone, which in my book was excellent service, which is why I gave it a 5 star rating. further more the gentlemen then told us about an amazing place to go get a bite to eat while we wait because it was around dinner time and let me tell you it was amazing as well. If I could give more then a 5 star rating I would because between the service and recommendation there wroth 10 stars. plus the price was very reasonable and he gave me 15% off which he didn't have to. Don't use them if you value your privacy.

I had about 6k photos on my phone, and i was looking to have them put on thumb drives so i could free up storage space in my phone. I took my phone here, i told them that i do not put pictures of my kids on the internet and do not want my photos uploaded to the google cloud. I believe that privacy is important, and that my and for that matter your kids lives should be kept private. They did the job i asked, and did return my phone and the thumb drives to me. They did upload my photos to google cloud though. I can only imagine they did so because it was eaiser for them. Its really violating to have pics of your family put on the cloud, from private moments to my children in the tub. Especially when i repeatedly specified that is not what i wanted. One star i guess because none isn't an option. Spent a couple hours deleting the pictures from the cloud, but they're never really going to be gone. I wouldn't do business here again. If you value your privacy and dont think anyone has a right to your information from cradle to grave don't do business here they...

iPhone was “dead”. After a few steps of troubleshooting for diagnostic, Karl fixed it. His knowledge and experience are unquestionably excellent (not the first time I go to his shop, so I know first hand they are great at what they do, most times were for cracked screens). His honesty though deserves recognition. I was super impressed by his honesty. He could have claimed a bunch of different things: a bad charging port, bad battery, bad screen, etc and/or all together and charge me hundreds for some or all of those. I tried everything I could before going to his shop and in my mind the phone was “dead” and the next steps were those I mentioned. So I was ready for a big hit $. Instead of trying to take advantage of me and the “dead” phone, he charged me $0.00 since he was able to repair it while troubleshooting it. Furthermore, his willingness to provide tips on how to avoid and/or fix similar issues in the future let me speachless. I which car mechanics were as good and honests as Karl is. BTW the whole interaction lasted less than 5 minutes. Thanks for the help! Great people...
