Nice shopping center with plenty of options.
While looking for a certain business in the area, I came across this on good old Google maps and went to try some of the businesses in this shopping center.
There's plenty of shopping and eating options in both the plaza and the outskirts. The shopping center is very large. There's also the Cortlandt Crossing shopping area directly across the street from here, so there is an abundance of shopping/eating options right in this area.
There's too many businesses to list here - Walmart, Best Buy, Barnes & Noble, Home Depot, Acme Supermarket, Applebees, Marshalls, DSW, and Michaels for starters.
The parking is plentiful. Predicably, the spots closest to certain businesses are the most heavily congested, so if you don't mind walking a few extra feet, you'll find a space easily. Use caution in some areas here though - there were some terrible drivers in this lot. Some of the stores are; the Post Office (10547), Walmart, movie theaters, U-Haul, Old Navy, PetSmart, Barnes & Noble, Best Buy, Panera, Acme Supermarket, and Home Depot.
It's just fine, as shopping centers go. My only gripe, aside from it not being a mall, is that the entrances and exits are terrible and the parking lots are poorly designed.
One is better off driving and re-parking to visit stores in the dozen separate areas of the shopping center. Knowledge of the nook and cranny locations to best squeeze through from section to...
Read moreJust awful. What a waste of land. You only go here because you have to. Each store is the worst of its kind, even within a given chain. The notable exceptions are Acme (Grocery) which is pretty good all round, and BestBuy which despite being a very small one and of limited section for a BestBuy because of that, does have exceptionally good -even well trained/informed staff that are willing to look things up and even call someone from a vendor to verify information: That is an unusual level of service anywhere today. As a result I try to buy the things...
