Montauk Library — Attraction in Town of East Hampton

This is a gorgeous library, with panoramic views of the Atlantic ocean that rival most million dollar homes in Montauk. The architecture is simple but stunning, with an open feel and wood and steel throughout. The circulation desk is well-staffed, and there's several reading rooms to relax with the daily newspaper or a good book. The children's section has tons of educational toys and computers as well as a vast selection of books. There's many free and fun events for children and adults alike - check the website for classes and story times. I love this place; my three young children and I spend many happy hours here...

Our family decided to camp at Hither Hills for the labor day week. Now that Hurricane Dorian has rolled up coast the library welcomed us with open arms and allowed us to warm up, dry off, plug in, and play some computer games without requiring membership. Truly lovely people in lovely and...
