I was in a major bind. All packed and ready to check out and return from our family vacation when I discovered the bike rack that worked on our way out wasn’t going to be able to get us back. I had visions of having to leave three bikes in Montauk. The bike rack manufacturer customer service was closed on Saturdays and the place where I bought it couldn’t advise without seeing it. The whole snafu was delaying other family members who were going to caravan home with us. I had heard good things about Beckers and they really saved the day. On a busy Saturday, Rich took the time to inspect it and came up with a workable solution. We cannot thank him and everyone at Beckers enough! 2 customers came in at 4:45 and needed to get assistance cutting plexiglass and the other customer wanted to purchase paint. The manager told them to come tomorrow morning because they close at 5pm. Both jobs could be completed easily in 10 minutes. The guy told them he has a life and would NOT help them and come back early in the morning. The proper way is to lock the door at 5pm and take care of the customers in the store. His arrogance is...

Am extremely disappointed with the return policy of this place. Ten days is NOT reasonable considering that people may have full time jobs, and may be waiting for contractors and handymen to complete jobs. I was unable to return an unopened vent fan even though I had the receipt and the box was completely intact. Not even for store credit. I recommend going to Riverhead supply a few minutes...
