Sole East Beach — Hotel in Town of East Hampton

Please carefully read all of the poor reviews for both the resort and beach locations as they are true. There is no one at either location that can make any cleanliness/reimbursement decisions which is a sign of poor management and something I have never experienced. For the amount of money you're paying, you should at least get basic customer service, which this company is lacking.

I had previously stayed at the Sole East Resort, so when looking to stay closer to the beach we stayed here on good merit from our last experience. Upon entering the room there was a foul smelling large water stain on the rug and no hot water in the shower. We waited till the next day to go to the front desk in hopes both would sort themselves out, which they did not. The very kind woman at the front desk called someone at the Sole East Resort who said someone would come to assess both situations while we were out. No one ever did.

Upon check out the next day, I brought this to the attention of a new woman at the front desk who again called someone at the resort location. They told me there was no one in Montauk who could rectify the situation and to email someone named Dave who's in Miami who would "answer in minutes." sole east resort has a stellar reputation, but the beach property is a complete nightmare.||The rooms at the motel were an all day/night rave - with about 12 boys blasting music with a strobe light - and their door open - until 3am. we complained multiple times and the situation persisted.||The lack of security was appalling. the front desk was never staffed. Bongs, weed, and empty beer bottles with left outside our door. This was supposed to be a pet/kid friendly location, but these items were just left open for the taking - or for animals / children to ingest. Not to mention it invites unwelcome, non-guests. It was a total safety hazard and just simply disgusting - especially considering the price.||We never would have stayed here had we known it was a party hotel for 18-21 year olds.||You need to disclose that this property is an entirely different experience and not up to the same standard as the resort. And prices need to reflect that. It’s wildly misleading to even share the same brand name, as the two properties are not AT ALL the same.||Additionally, the AC unit did not work. The room remained at 80 degrees the entire stay.||On our last night, they offered to relocate us via text, but it was far too little too late. Since leaving, I have yet to receive a call from anyone attempting to rectify...
