Impetigo not cold sore I brought my son in twice over the course of 3 months because he had what looked like a cold sore on his face. The wait time in the office was great, and the doctors had nice bedside manners. However, they both said he had cold sores (or something like that) and wouldn't give me any prescription. Then I brough him to a dermatologist last week since his face was erupting, and she diagnosed him with impetigo; a prescription for mupirocin was given, and after putting the cream on him for two days, it cleared up his face completely. I wish PM Pediatrics would have given me this prescription three months ago since my poor toddler had been walking around daycare with sores on his face, and as parents we felt helpless to do anything. Impetigo is a common skin ailment on toddlers, so I wish the doctors would have given us the prescription of mupirocin just in case.

Horrible place to come as a walk in …. You’ll wait for hours … with a sick child in your car … checked in 3:23pm and it’s currently 5:49pm as a type this. If your going take appt might as well make it a practice office and not urgent care and have walking because specially for children they don’t not what wait is … imagine having a child sitting in a car for 3+ hours it’s ridiculous… I’ll remind myself not to come here next time and go straight to the ER

I called today to ask about the foot hand disease because my two year old has bumps on his hand and feet so who ever answered the phone at approximately at 7:30 was very very rude and laughed at my panic of curiosity if adults could get this when I was told to it’s an common thing for toddlers especially in daycare . I will never bring my kid back because there’s nothing funny about a concerned mother!!!! Very offensive

On October 31st I walked into the urgi center at your Rockville Centre location. Upon walking in I wasn't asked why my son was there instead I was told there would be a 2 hour wait and I needed to scan the QR code to register sit and wait. I sat and waited but in those 2 hours I watched how all the patients of color were shut down and dismissed when trying to explain what was going on with their child but as soon as a Caucasian walked in the treatment and tone was completely different. There were 21 people ahead of me not including the 6 white families that did not have appointments be seen before even the ones with appointments. The ladies sitting at the front desk were of color and that made it even more disturbing to watch, mainly the older lady. She blatantly displayed racism based on color of the skin. She interrupted a mother mid registration to tend to the white man who walked in with his daughter with no appointment. She kept shutting the woman trying to explain that she was having the same issues with her son and the older lady ignored her and in fact never let her finish her sentence. Even the white man apologized and said for the lady to continue but the front desk person told the man to continue. I figured I was just seeing things, but consistently she allowed the white patients to be seen before anyone else and the nurse came out to check on the patients while they waited. A doctor came out twice to check on the little girl but no one ever did that for my son or my niece. At exactly 10 pm I was having a conversation with my father and explaining to him how I was sitting there for 2 hours with my asthmatic son and no one has even checked him a nurse comes out and says I am just going to check him to be sure. At that moment 4 patients ahead of me, she checked his oxygen which was at 91 and needed treatment and steroids. God forbid he would have had a real serious respiratory issue while waiting but no one would have known. I don't care to wait all day as long as my child is treated with the same respect and dignity as everyone else but that was not the case. My son and niece watched what was going on and several patients did as well and one woman voiced it out loud that the white patients were being treated with preference. This might be just how it was designed although I pray that not to be true. I will no longer be going to this establishment and I have been going there for years but this is sad and I pray that whoever reads this takes action. Before judging my review sit in a waiting room and observe for yourself. If you're wondering why I am putting all of this in a review instead of addressing staff is because when my sister and I brought up the issue we were not provided with the name of a manager or anyone we could bring our concerns to, we were instead told that someone would give us a call. I'm still waiting. I implore anyone who doubts just...

If I can give a star, I think I will give this clinic a minus one on the experience . I have a 5 year old. Due to the COVID-19 situation, the school needs us to have some form to complete in order to return to school. That night, I took my 5-year-old child stood outside waiting in the cold wind for three full hours before seeing the doctor, I told the doctor, school only require the form complete, no need to get the test, all he has to examine the child does not have any symptom, but he doctor insist need to do the tested before they can fill out the form. Also told me that the result will be out in 2-3 days. In fact, the school only require the doctor to select the line with no signs of the symptom. This delayed the child's return to school. so I have no choice to get the test done with them. I stared at the phone every day to see if there was an email reminder that the test report came out. i waited 3 days after the test. I called the clinic for the first time on Thursday, but been told no test result yet, ask me call back on Friday. I called again on Friday and said that they don't have it. And been told call back to check on Saturday. On Saturday morning, I called again, and still didn’t. They told me to call again in the evening. Later they said they they have no control of the lab, want me call the laboratory. I called to the laboratory and told them my situation. They got my daughter's test result and fax over to the doctor office 4:45pm. and ask me to call the office after 10 minutes. I waited an hour and called the office to see if they can update their portal, so i can login to the account to get the result for my child to get back to school on Monday. I called the clinic again, they make me wait on the phone over half an hour, and then said that I could not find it, and they said they would give me a call before they get off. at that point, i am already frustrated, with no more patient. I called the lab again and ask them if able to send to me directly. The lab rep was nice enough and understand my situation and she was very helpful, She is also not understanding why the office does not want to give me the lab result.

At this hard ship time for everyone, why the clinic is really not at ease. I don’t understand why they are doing this to the patient. this is just a finger tp work, why they d not want to help people. i want to know what will be do you good for to deliberately make things difficult for others? The original intention of being a doctor is to save people, not to make things difficult for others. I wonder what their intentions are? Is it for fear that the world will not be chaotic? Does...

Our experience at PM Pediatrics Urgent Care in Rockville Centre, NY was nothing short of extraordinary, and that is largely due to the exceptional care provided by Dr. Anmar Al Qaisi. In all my years as a parent, I have never encountered a doctor as remarkable, attentive, and genuinely compassionate as Dr. Al Qaisi. From the moment he stepped into the room, his warmth and kindness radiated, instantly putting both our children and us at ease. Dr. Al Qaisi not only took the time to address every aspect of our children’s needs but also went out of his way to ensure we, as parents, felt completely comfortable and informed. It’s rare to find a doctor who treats the parents with the same level of care and respect as the patients, but Dr. Al Qaisi does just that.

It’s not an exaggeration to say that if his primary practice, located at Crystal Run Healthcare in Rock Hill, NY, wasn’t such a distance from us in Valley Stream, we would choose him as our primary doctor without hesitation! While no parent wishes for illness, knowing there is someone as compassionate and skilled as Dr. Al Qaisi available makes us feel at peace during difficult times. His knowledge, coupled with his sincere approach, made us feel like we were in the best hands possible. He exemplifies everything a pediatric doctor should be and more, treating each patient as if they were his own child and catering to every concern with unwavering patience.

In addition to Dr. Al Qaisi’s incredible care, his team at PM Pediatrics deserves commendation as well. The assistants who first interacted with us were outstanding—they greeted us with smiles, handled the children’s vitals with a gentle touch, and ensured the experience started on the right note. Their professionalism and kindness set the tone for our entire visit. Furthermore, the post-discharge walkthrough was seamless, handled with a level of attention and clarity that truly underscored how much they care about their patients’ well-being.

PM Pediatrics is truly fortunate to have someone like Dr. Al Qaisi on their team, caring for the community’s children with such empathy and expertise. And for those who might have the opportunity to see him at Crystal Run Healthcare, they’re equally blessed to have access to such an outstanding doctor. This kind of dedication and compassion is rare in healthcare, and Dr. Al Qaisi stands as a shining example of what every parent hopes for in a medical professional. I would recommend him and PM Pediatrics wholeheartedly, with full confidence that any family would be as grateful as we are to have received such...
