This mall used to be a great place. But unfortunately it has yet to live up to those standards since Fortunoff The Source closed it down. I went to this mall just to see what was up with the Fortunoff building, since it’s been sitting there empty for a good 15 years. While looking inside I saw a few small items I could see myself using them at home. I decided to ask security if there was anyway they could let me or someone who manages the building in the building to get those small items for me. We asked security and were immediately greeted with an unwelcoming tone, and after asking them about it initally they said no and that they didn’t have access to the building. Which I was appauled to believe they had the audacity to lie to me because one time they left the entrance unlocked and we saw that same guard lock the door! And if lying once wasn’t enough they lied again! By saying the building is being condemned when that really isn’t true because when I called Samanea a representative told me it was serving as storage and that the rumours of it being condemned weren’t true! They also said that going inside the building or sending someone inside would be putting their lives in danger which is a blatant lie because I’ve seen workers inside the building with no protective gear on whatsoever, and it would be simple since I had already located where the item was! Overall the mall itself is dying and the security here are horrible, lying and nasty. And need to drop their attitude. I’m sorry to say it, especially since this mall used to be a great...

Read moreThis mall is a business school case of what goes wrong in Commercial Real Estate. It's a completely run down mall with empty stores, and no food court. It seems like it's been cursed or something. It's been nothing but a huge failure for the landlords and all the tenants since it opened up in 1997. Every other year the owners go bankrupt and the property goes to a new owner. I really can't understand how this place can do so poorly in such a busy affluent area. As I said it must be cursed, but hey...
