First of all 3 of us walked in and not one person greeted at all. We were looking at a booth with a ton of awesome jewelry about 15 feet from where 3 workers stood. They were loudly talking down about both customers and vendors that sell in their store. It was a male and 2 older females. It was very awkward to hear what they were saying too. After 10 minutes of looking we asked for help with the jewelry and the man came over. He was not at all helpful finding anything. So we decided to move on. Walked around some more on the first floor and when I got up to the counter where the pricier jewelry is encased and check out is. I was clearly looking but the old lady sat at the computer with her back to me playing solitaire. Didnât even acknowledge me one time. It felt like we were interrupting their lil gossip fest and making them work. Coming from lower Michigan we have many of the same antiques at a much lower cost too. And far superior customer service than this place. If I were a vendor here I would pull my stuff out and sell elsewhere. The staff is zero help to the customers, talks poorly about customers and vendors in front of customers and the prices are waaaay too high. I was very disappointed, sadly. The others I went with all felt...
Read moreLet me start off by saying this antique store is absolutely amazing. You get lost in the 4 stories of hoosits and whatâs-itâs and oddities all over the place. Everything is priced very reasonably and thereâs something for everyone. Definitely the most impressive jewelry selection I have EVER seen in an antique store.
But thatâs not even the best part. I am a collector of a very specific collection of canisters and kitchen items. I found the completion for my set of canisters and noticed that they were only sold in the 4 piece set. I asked the very kind lady at the counter (such a shame I never got her name) if I could buy two pieces of the set. She told me they were not sold separately but told me sheâd get in contact with the vendor (again, a VERY sweet lady) and let me know if sheâd be willing to break it apart. The vendor got back to her and said that she wouldnât be willing to separate them but she had another set that sheâd be willing to separate so I could complete my collection. I met her the next day and she was able to complete my set (and my dreams, quite frankly) at a very reasonable price.
I will be talking about these two ladies for as long as I live and think about them everytime I see my...
Read moreThis is an absolutely amazing antique/thrift store where you can find a variety of different things including some antiques that date back to ww1 or even before that. The people that were working there at the time were very friendly, knowledgeable, and accepting. Just a fair warning, a lot of the products there cannot be shipped depending on those who are dealing it. Another fun part of this magnificent store is the different areas, with 4 levels of old fun, there is over 50 different dealers that are all willing to deal and lower prices. This is for those that are wondering, knives, black powder firearms, and swords were available at the time making this further proving that they surely will have something for you. The only downside that I saw was the prices but all prices are based on the pure product and can be âhaggledâ. Overall this is a sure place to visit if you...
