My Secret Stash — Local services in Traverse City

I don’t even know where to start with this store. I’m a local, not a tourist. I thought it was going to be just another souvenir shop. NOPE! IT’S NOT! It’s so much more! It is so eclectic. I love the entire upstairs as I am a plant lady. The downstairs has items that would make fantastic souvenirs, lovely gifts or gag gifts. Check out the socks…😂 There are wonderful artistic items. If you want unique, this is the place. They care a lot of Michigan products which I love. The staff is always friendly, helpful available but not pushy or on you constantly. The scented products were a bit much for my asthma today, but my family had a great time. It's got unique items from small souvenirs to larger art pieces so there's something fun for every budget. We were welcomed, the store was clean, and everything looked absolutely lovely! There was enough room to navigate with my cane for the time I was able to look around. I would definitely recommend it but be careful if strong (though pleasant) fragrances bother you. I'll definitely return when my lungs are cooperating better. I had a terrible experience here. I messaged the shops Facebook and was completely ignored. I left a review on their Facebook as well which was also ignored. Seeing the owner respond to all other reviews and just ignore mine is infuriating. I was followed every step of the way through the store. I felt profiled, and very uncomfortable. I understand you need to make sure people don't shop lift. But to basically hold my hand while I shop is very insulting. To completely ignore my complaints is poor customer service. I will never spend money here again, nor would I ever recommend this...
