Tualatin Beard's Framing — Attraction in Tualatin

I recently visited Beard’s Framing (Tualatin) to have a photo framed, as well as framing a piece of art. The staffer who greeted me, upon my entry, was prompt and pleasant. Said staffer took me through the frame, matting and glazing process, and we selected just the right framing materials for each piece. The order was placed, with an estimated completion of 2 weeks +/-. The staffer collected the cost of services, and I departed after receiving a pleasant “send-off.”

I received notification for pickup, approximately 3 days before the indicated completion date. I proceeded to the shop, and had the pleasure of two staffers greeting and engaging me upon my arrival. The documentation was pulled and reviewed, as were the framed items.

Rather than simply handing me two wrapped items, the staffer unwrapped each item for inspection and acceptance of the work. I found the work to be “A 1 A,” precisely as agreed it would be. The staffer ensured I was issued four (4) hangers, explaining why four were issued instead of two.

Beard's has been the go-to frame shop for thirty years. When I found two sepia-toned black and white photos of my parents when they were about nineteen or twenty, I had them digitally retouched and made the same size (both were from Kodak Brownie film and my father's picture in his new 1919 Model T Roadster is a hundred-three years old by the way) and took them to be framed at Beard's. The associate spent a long time with me coming up with a pleasing positioning and a wonderful frame. It was expensive, but well-worth it. My lovely parents will live next to each other forever and I expect my daughter and granddaughter will see that this wonderful memory lives forever.

When I waited to pick up this masterpiece, I spied a good sized oil painting of a jackrabbit, which inhabited the east side if the state in the millions until a lupine plague wiped them out.
