As a customer, I feel somewhat safe while at Tucson mall. I'd feel more safe, if a Few security officers would be more Professional, focused on details, making sure a situation is resolved before leaving the situation Before it's resolved. E.g., restroom, corridor situations should, in my opinion, be completely Resolved before a security officer leaves this situation. Would you, agree? A security officer Is the First Line of Defense for children, customers, older adults & employees, would you be in agreement? Therefore, a security officer Owes It for the safety of the Previous mentioned, to the Best of her/his abilities that these safety measures are Fully Implemented for the Safety of All. In these times, a few unprofessional security officers can jeopardize the safety of a multitude by Not Being Diligent & Focused on Their Ultimate Objective. Which is: A safe environment for All, as Reasonably Provided, would you agree? There Are a Few Security Officers at the Tucson Mall, whom focus more on certain stores. This means: she/he spend more time with personnel at these stores on a Regular Basis than other stores. This heightens the possibility of unsavory situations to occur which should Have Never occurred in the first place. 'Cause of the amount of time she/he spends at one particular department store than being Focused on All department stores EQUALLY. Obviously, there Will be Exceptions. These situations Should occur on a Limited Basis, overall, are you in agreement? It Only takes a Few Minutes of being Unprofessional, Unfocused for Multiple Injuries, deaths to occur when this could Have Been Preventable. A Few Lapses in Wisdom may End Up Being Costly for Many when These Situations Were Reasonably Preventable, Would You be in Agreement? I'm an Ex Air Force veteran, that served in the middle east. In my opinion, it's interesting to note: We VETERANS protected Our American Citizens Better in Public Venues than they're Protected at Malls, Public Events & etc., in the U.S.A. E.g., on july 3rd & 4th at the Park Place Mall, I observed a security personnel along with 2 tucson police officers Hired by the mall walking together thru the mall. In my opinion, Not Much Common Sense Displayed in this situation. If a person or persons were planning something unethical or posing a safety, life & death situation towards customers, she/he, they would be able to determine when the above mentioned congregated together. Furthermore, if these were the Only two uniformed officers, where was the officer patrolling the outside parking lot? Probably, there wasn't one or any, 'cause they were congregated inside the mall. What do you think of this situation? Based on my personal military background, this Definitely Isn't a Wise procedure, strategy in providing Proper, adequate protection in the Best interests of those shoppers inside the mall or walking outside to their cars. What is your opinion? In Our present times, The wisest decisions Should be made My Those in Uniform that Signed Up for Mall or etc. Duty, being paid to perform at the Highest Standards in Protcting Citizens by Implementing The BEST, REASONABLE, COMMON SENSE Decisions in The Utmost. Protecting Shoppers, Not LOLLYGAGGING around & receiving a Nice Stipend..... Yesterday, in Indiana's unfortunate mall food court tragedy, mall security & law enforcement should vividly Realize why mall security & law enforcement should Always be actively on the move, Not congregating, socializing while on the job... Food Courts, Corridors, Movie Theaters inside the Mall, Parking Lots outside Malls & Especially Restrooms should have Eyes on them Like Hawks Looking for their Next meal... Would You agree, this is the Best way to Aid in lessening Large Numbers of casualties at such businesses? During these Trying Contemporary times WE NEED Security & Law Enforcement Personnel to Willing, if the situation calls for it, Sacrifices Their Lifes for Others inside these Locations.... If Not Willing to Sacrifice Your life for Others, then DO ALL US shoppers a favor, Don't Work for these...
Read moreThis isn't too bad of a mall. There are a nice variety of stores here, clothing stores, watch stores, game stores, etc. It's been around for quite a long time, and it shows, since there is some noticeable wear inside. Also of note, is the food court, which offers a wide variety of choices.Parking is terrible. Part of the reason for that is because Tucson has grown a lot in the past 20 years, and it wasn't designed for that type of expansion. In that sense, it's a lot like the city of Tucson itself in that its infastructure is too small to support its growth. Another issue I have is with the signage. Finding a bathroom for instance, can be an issue, and there is no signage to point the way, unless you happen to be in the vicinity of the food court. Tucson mall is pretty alright as far as malls go. It's close to my house and they have a few of my favorites - Old Navy, Gap, etc., so I find myself here at least once a month. Some of the anchor department stores could use some love; the Penney's and Macy's both feel a little sparse and oddly laid out compared to others I've seen. However, REI is conveniently right outside, and there's some decent dining nearby. We enjoy the Vietnamese spot near H&M. Parking can be a beast, but you can find the less crowded nooks further out and walk in for a less stressful experience. Overall, there's enough here to keep me coming back despite the...
Read moreWe visited three places in the Tucson mall today. First was Dillard's. ASHAN was the incredible young man that helped us. We were looking for a very specific item and he went above and beyond to find this particular item for us... What a Gem ASHAN is. For more details see my review of Dillard's specifically. Next, we stopped at Cinnabon where my friend picked up two cinnamon rolls to go and I had the most delicious cup of cinnamon roll centers drizzled with a caramel sauce and the cream cheese sauce on the cinnabons. Freaking fantastic!!! Lastly I visited Perfume Paradise what are the most beautiful young woman, the manager of perfume Paradise, Yutzimy. I hope I spelled that correctly. It was such a beautiful name when she said it. Very fitting for her. Anyway, I mentioned I loved the Prada, Paradoxe, and within 2 minutes she had eight perfumes sprayed on sample cards that were equally as lovely as my preferred Prada. Needless to say I left with a new perfume and was given a discount by the lovely young lady.. If that isn't enough, I vowed to go back every month for a new perfume because she was such a lovely and personable manager!! If you love wonderful high end perfume, but love it at a discounted price...Please go visit this lovely young woman at Perfume Paradise. You will...
