Read moreIf I could rate this hotel a -5 stars I would. Room was very nice looking, we rented a jetted tub suite tub was nice had cracks in it but was nice. My husband turns on the jetted tub fills it up to where he thought it needed to be level wise, got in tried it found out needed more water. Well when he went to turn it on again the water spout shot up and hit him in the jaw. My husband calls the front desk speaks with Orlando the Assistant Manager he was pretty much just rude, my husband does home remodels and asked if there was a tool there he could use to put it back on just so we could use the tub for the night he says no, ya okay liability issue I get it. My husband then asks if he can switch us to a different hot tub suite so we can actually use the tub we paid for you know, his response was no but I can just switch you rooms, ya no thank you I want what I actually paid for. So whatever we decide to leave ya he refunds our money back to us but then states to me that "Well I'm sorry things didn't work out for you!" Talk about horrible customer service. So anyways I call the next day to speak to a manger because his treatment of us was just unacceptable. A very nice person answers the phone I tell them what happened, they apologize and was very nice however was told nothing will be done most likely since he's the assistant manger and they get a lot of complaints about him but nothing ever comes of it because he's an assistant manger, but if someone below him were to have done that they would be fired. Totally wrong anyways I am calling back today to complain to the manger if nothing gets done from that I am calling corporate because this is unacceptable. On top of that he left notes saying my husband was trying to start a fight with him only thing my husband said was "This is Bull S**t" which honestly it was. I will never stay here again and wouldn't recommend this...
Read moreThis is by far our favorite place to stay when visiting Vancouver. The rooms are clean, comfortable and cozy. The Covid Crisis has affected many amenities at most hotels, yet this hotel has risen above the majority by meeting those demands and requirements to ensure safety to all its patrons. The pool had re-opened (seasonal) where guests could sign up and utilize it in which one could optimize use privately, no over crowding, no loud noise, just relaxation and an abundance of fresh clean towels. Breakfast continued too be served brown bag style that consisted of a muffin, breakfast burrito and juice, coffee, tea, and cocoa were also available. Aside from a clean comfortable room at a decent price, what we really found appealing was their staff. These people are amazing! From the minute you walked in to the moment of checkout, each person acknowledged you and made you feel like a VIP during your stay, and always they addressed you by your name each time they seen you. Kudos to all of them but especially to Emily. Emily really went that extra mile to make sure you had the perfect room after a long day on the road, she called us on the first day to let us know a party had canceled their swimming time so our young travelers could use the pool ( on the day of checking the pool sign up list was full), she made fresh coffee late at night so we didn't have to go searching for a convenient store, and gave a multitude of current local activities to seek while in town, plus offered up dining options that were local staples. Besides the easy I-5 access to this hotel, I would highly recommend one give this hotel a call first when traveling through, its quiet rooms off a busy freeway are perfect for the business traveler, its large comfortable rooms are ideal for the family travelers and its handicapped access and elevator make it optimal for those with...
