Two stars because the staff is friendly. I do not recommend taking a vehicle here to be worked on unless its basic service, and you know what needs to be done.
I called to make an appointment for them to go through the car top to bottom and find any and everything wrong with it... rough idle in reverse, and some noises going on. first time they said an oil change, a wiper blade, a coolant flush, and some filters.... this jeep has over 100k miles and has never been serviced, other than tires and oil changes which I told them.
I went back and told the lady that there's no way thats all that was wrong with it... she had a "master technician" look at it, they found the valve cover was leaking, and that it needed new spark plugs...
Okay cool, so we did that and I added on more services that are recommended for the milage.
Picked the car up today and didn't even get out of the parking lot, put it in reverse rough idle... hit a bump... loud clanking noise... even though they did a full inspection on the vehicle and said everything passed...
Seems like they just want to price gouge.. at other dealerships the diagnostic fee goes toward your repairs if you choose to have it fixed with them, at this dealership that is not the case.
So, I'm not sure if I needed to pay an inspection fee, and a diagnostic for the rough idle, and a diagnostic for the clanking noise? To get it all looked at?
Overall, we are disappointed and will not bring our...
Read moreStranded with a DEF problem I was well taken care of at the Vernal Downtown Auto In Vernal UT.
Derek and Paul in the service department went out of their way to quickly solve an obscure problem. We were treated like family and felt as though we were in good hands. They kept us informed throughout the process.
Everyone in this dealership has excellent people skills. The wonderful Dessire, their receptionist even helped us find a place to stay as we needed to leave our vehicle over a weekend.
After our problem was resolved we had them do an oil change. I think they forgot to push a button telling the vehicle they performed an oil change because less then four days and 300 miles later our ProMaster is telling us to get an oil change. I don’t hold this against my experience with this dealership. I blame it on the 2014 ProMaster as being a finicky vehicle.
If you are ever in need of a positive dealership experience you will find it here. Thanks again to Matt, Joe, Paul, Derek and the entire crew of Downtown Auto. Keep up the great work! If I lived in the Colorado Utah Wyoming region I would return to purchase a vehicle from Rob or Blaine. No pressure just...

I called this wonderful dealer up after putting def in the diesel tank at the gas station. (Distracted by the family). They warned me not to turn the truck on and to have it towed to their dealership.
During the trip there, I googled costs, time-frame, and what I just got myself into it…. And it wasn’t looking good, especially since I was just passing through with family to go cut down our yearly Christmas tree in Colorado. Just Google def in diesel tank for a fun read.
Upon arriving there and explaining my situation, several of the staff volunteered to stay late to help us get back on the road. They treated us like family (though we were just passing through). In the end, it looked like the entire building was staying late on our account, including a manager and the owner. This is beyond impressive and speaks highly of how this dealership is run and the work ethic of this place's employees.
Even though it’s not remotely close to where I live, I will be ordering my next Ram through...
