This is my second time coming here to get a massage. The first time we came was with a friend that recommended the place and we loved it. The second time even better, so we scheduled for another visit. There is a garage near the location and it’s free parking, another plus to coming here.
When you come for an appointment make sure to come early because there’s a piece of paper to fill out. Shouldn’t take but five minutes, but better early than late. There is a small discount if you pay cash but if you opt not to then that’s ok too but no discount :).
The place does not look luxurious or high end from the outside, but it doesn’t look bad at all. Siam is located on the second floor or the upstairs. When you walk in it already feels so relaxing and calming. Very serene atmosphere and beautiful decor.
The massage therapist I had (Alyn) was great. She concentrated on the areas that I wrote down on my paper. She will ask if the level of massage is ok or if she needs to adjust. The price of the massage is not too bad considering it’s 90 minutes long and there are a few types of massage to chose from. There’s traditional Thai, Thai Aroma massage combo mix, Swedish Thai, etc. I recommend this place for a day...
Read moreAs a massage therapist myself who also receives monthly massages, I can confidently say this was not a quality Thai massage or massage at all. I’ve had Thai massages in Walnut Creek location before and they were generally good, but unfortunately, this recent experience was very disappointing. I scheduled a 90-minute Thai massage, but only received a 50-minute session. The Mew. W rushed through the entire massage, didn’t take time to warm up the tissue, and didn’t seem to be attuned to the body at all—something I expect from a trained professional.
It honestly made me question whether the Mew. M therapist was properly trained in Thai massage or any massage. This experience was unlike any I’ve had here before. While the staff did offer me a 20% discount as a courtesy for the shortened session and my dissatisfaction, I don’t believe that fully makes up for what felt like a lack of professionalism and care.
I would not recommend Mew. M therapist for Thai massage or any. I hope management ensures better quality control going forward, because this location has had much better standards...
Read moreI've had a Swedish and Thai massages at Sai. Both times were amazing! I felt rejuvenated afterward especially after the Thai massage. There was a misunderstanding my second time there. I had signed up for reflexology but when I got there the receptionist told me that 1 hour of reflexology was too long. She asked me if I wanted full body massage as well to which I said it was fine. I've always had Swedish Massage but somehow the receptionist signed me up for Thai (little did I know). Long story short, the misunderstanding turned out to be a blessing. I highly recommend the Thai massage. I honestly never had one because I was intimidated by it after seeing the body manipulation and just overall how different it is! However, after accidentally having it done at Sai, I'm a fan! The masseuses there are gentle and just amazing. They definitely know what they're doing. They also ask you for your input and ask if you want them to walk on your back. I said no! I'm slowly working up to it. I highly...
