Learn moreFirst, I’d like to say that I was excited to try this restaurant as it was described as a “hole in the wall, Italian restaurant”. I was expecting a great environment, friendly service, and a great night out.
When arriving at the restaurant and denoting that a reservation was made, the initial response of host staff was a weird and judgmental look. Just behind them, was a server rubbing their hands all over their face and runny nose and then continuing to work without washing their hands. How great!
Secondly, after being seated the service staff (I’m assuming the manager or owner) was quite disinterested in providing at the very minimum, a welcoming and inviting atmosphere. Didn’t even bother to say “hello, how are you?”
Eating nuts behind the bar (really???? Why even risk cross contamination?!) Drinking behind the bar ( seriously??? On your shift!?) Scowling, ignoring, and avoiding contact with quests and overall acting annoyed by the presence of customers (come on??)
Beyond that, as quickly as we were seated we didn’t even bother to order food after the drink was served. Which was “dropped off” at our table without even saying a word or making any kind of effort to ensure proper service.
Now after seeing TONS AND TONS of reviews about the lack of care for this place, the rude and constant complaints about particular servers being unfriendly and rude to customers - I’m glad we didn’t spend any more money here. Why bother serving the community if you’re going to be rude, disinterested, and almost all the servers walk around the restaurant looking annoyed, bored, and disinterested in caring? The club music to top it off, is just terrible.

Read moreA rocky start but an extremely strong finish. Arrived a bit early. Booked through open table but reservation didn’t exist. So they seated our party of 7 anyway, kinda quickly, at a really nice round table overlooking the dining room and one of the restaurant managers or owners came over and asked us if we would be finished eating within an hour? It was an odd question having just been sat, so my response was, well I don’t know-how long will it take the server to take orders and the kitchen to get the food out and I don’t know how many courses we’re going to order we just sat down. He responded that a party was coming in and he needed that table. I responded by saying that I really didn’t want to be rushed through my meal so maybe it is better to sit at a different table and so they moved us to a rectangle table that I had one side facing wall and other side was booth like. THE FOOD WAS EXCELLENT. Everyone in the party enjoyed their dishes. This was a work meal so in my open table reservation I had noted that we would need separate checks so when the server brought the check and said he couldn’t divide it I was calm but I little upset. Made sense because even though I had the confirmation email they didn’t have the information. The hostess cane up as we were strategizing what to do and had this GREAT attitude. She ran 4 of our cards as that seemed to be the fastest exit, and then she had already remade my reservation in open table so I would get the points. She deserves a promotion or at least a bonus. Read moreBro where do I start. Sanna was our hostess and undoubtably had no idea what she was doing. The other hostess seemed so lost like seating people was a statistics problem. My girlfriend and I have worked in the service industry for over 5 years and have literally never treated anyone with such carelessness. In all fairness we have also never really had a bad experience at a restaurant. This was a masterful performance of ignorance, un-organized staff, and woeful service. We set a timer to be funny and waited over 30 minutes just to get water. We go into the restaurant after another customer told another table in the same situation that we have to ask for service at the bar… when I asked Sanna our hostess if that was the case she was almost surprised we wanted food, it made no difference and we continued to wait. I’m inside at the bar and my girlfriend is talking to who I assume to be the general manager in a green jacket that had an aura of confusion about what in the world she was doing. Told us we were going to get a server in a minute and eventually our hero joined us. Our nameless, joyless hero. No intro, no recommendations which honestly is fine if you’ve got a busy restaurant. When I tell you her and I could have taken these tables with 100% enthusiasm and charisma, it would have been a walk in the park. He rushed so much we could barely ask for what we wanted.
