Terrible understanding of their own products. I went to the store for a simple inkpad to stamp return addresses on my wedding invitation envelopes. I asked an employee to show me which inkpad would work for this application. She helped me choose one. However, after stamping 65 of my envelopes, I suddenly realized that the ink did not dry. I waited four days and the ink still smeared. I returned to the store to present the problem. I spoke with the manager, and she did exchange the inkpad, but I felt very disappointed that they don't seem to understand their products well at all. Having spoken with the manufacturer of the ink pad, I was informed that using this type of ink for this application would never be appropriate, because it is a pigment ink, not an alcohol based ink. I wasn't looking for an exploratory craft project, I was trying to get something done. What a waste of my time. I was out 65 expensive special ordered envelopes, all of the postage, and most importantly, the invitations are late. I should not have to be the expert on their products. ...

Wonderful store, nice and attentive staff, lovely selection of items (though fairly limited), but they don't have contactless pay. In 2022, are you kidding?! While I waited in line to try to find my CC number somewhere on my phone (difficult, since I never anticipated walking into a store nowadays that doesn't accept contactless pay), 3 other people were told the same thing. Two left without their items, once starting rummaging furiously through her bag to find a physical credit card. Also, there's no sign informing customers they don't accept contactless pay, so you don't find out until you're at the register with your stuff. Really no excuse in...

Excellent selection of stationary, cards and crafts. Customer service was top-notch. Much superior to their prominent competition, Papyrus! Paper source has a variety of great products (particularly all the stationary i.e full walls of blank, colored cards/envelopes with 100+ colors). The layout of this store (and other locations) tends to feel intuitive and employees are friendly. I’ve been to just as many Papyrus locations and it simply cannot compete with Paper Source on pricing or quality. Even compared to Walgreens and retail/craft stores like Target, Hallmark, Michaels etc, Paper Source has reasonable pricing and much higher quality....
