I visited on 11th March 2022 at about 8pm. Someone had recommended this place and their jumbo slice of pizza so I had to come in and check it out. When I got here I didn’t see the jumbo slice on the menu so I was about to order the medium pizza, rookie mistake.
Ask the guy for the jumbo slice, it saves you $10 for about the same size pizza. Thing thing is huge, I got the margarita pizza and it was so hot and delicious. What I loved the most is that there was fresh mozzarella also in addition to the grated mozzarella.
The service here was simply impecable, from the moment I walked in I got 6-star service. There was someone else ordering when I walked in and I was looking at the menu on the wall and the guy behind the counter could see that I wasn’t able to make up my mind and it was hurting my neck to see the menu. He immediately offered my a physical menu, that kind of observation wins my business every time.
The man behind the counter was patient to answer my questions and celebrated with me when I saved money. His attitude won my heart over. When the chef brought my food out, he was so friendly and greeted me with a smile as well, this was ever so pleasant.
The guy showed me his biggest pizza size he has, it is gigantic. He was so cool about showing it to me too, I will literally come back to the this place for the service alone, great job guys. Keep doing awesome things! Oh, and...
Read moreFIIIIIREEEEE is the best way to describe this pizza. Tasted even better the next day!
I ordered a medium pie with pepperonis which set me back about $12. I visited this place because it was within walking distance of my DC hotel. It wasn't busy, but I realized that most folks ordered their pizza and then waited outside. Although it was about 37 degrees this night, the interior is definitely not for hanging out and can become crowded very easily. Which explains every one hanging outside.
While I waited for my pizza to cook, another patron was eating chicken wings and they were so steamy and delicious ooking that i added a few to my order!
The inside is decorated with European league posters, there are steos to the counter (which didn't help me at all because I could still barely see over the counter, but ya girl is height challenged at 5'3 LOL). And I had to stand on tip toe to pass the guy at the counter my credit card to pay.
Now I want to provide a work of caution: make sure you know what you are ordering. A slice of pizza is the size of most folks torso's, so it made more since to order a medium pizza. The logic sounds crazy, but trust me, A slice is enough for 2-3 people lol. And its under $7!
I will be back because I was dreaming about this pizza the day after I left, and it's some of the best I...
Read moreI been on the Hunt for the Best Jumbo Slice in DC. This place is definitely not it. The service was very fast, the price was very reasonable, the service was top notch above and beyond. But the pizza was average. It was somewhat difficult to eat. No matter how much I tried the toppings just slid right off the pizza and into the box. I even tried to slowly rip a portion of the crust to fold but still all the cheese and toppings slid off. I even turned on my cars AC on full blast to cool the cheese a little but it didn't help. Everything just slid off until all the dough was gone and there was a giant mountain of melted mozzarella and toppings in the middle of the pizza box. The bread had zero flavor. I dont understand how pizza can be made without adding some type of flavor to the dough. There were no Parmesan cheese or hot pepper on the tables and non...
