Please avoid shopping here. This is for your best interest. Other stores on Main Street are not just cooperative, but also encompass friendly atmospheres. However, this store offers unrealistic prices in comparison to other local store which explains their lack of clientele. As someone who currently lives on Main Street I have typically felt like I was a part of this community. However, this store is an exception. They leave unnecessary “notes” on our car because we (as locals who live on Main Street) are parking on Main Street. These notes are extremely unnecessary considering Main Street is a public street which we (as residents) can park on. More specifically, these notes are placed in the locations such as the gas tank of our car. We have considered using this business in the past but have decided to give our business elsewhere due to their lack of customer service and their overall response to potential customers. I am a 6 year, mostly full time Waynesville resident who happily came here from South Florida, Pompano Beach to be exact, where I had an amazing Jewelry Store that I was totally loyal to, so much so that I would return to Pompano to have any jewelry related item tended to. I just recently needed a new watch band adjusted so I visited Tammy’s, on Main Street in downtown Waynesville and it was my lucky day. I found a “lovely” lady, Tammy, just like the sign out front says, and her positively adorable and helpful son Sam. They took time to help me, we visited and laughed, and they made me feel extremely welcome and totally confident in my decision to leave my things to be taken care of. The work was done quickly and expertly by their jeweler and it has been an absolute pleasure to spend my money there…they also have very beautiful jewelry if you’re looking for something special. This is going to be my forever go to place! I came in looking for a chain to go with my family heirloom cross. My sister is getting married and I was cutting it close because they were leaving for their family vacation. I bought a beautiful chain from them and when I took it home and did not blend well with my cross. When I went back, it was the day before their vacation, and he went above and beyond to return the chain that I bought and gave me a different chain. The chain they had was too short, so he made it into a longer chain finished repairing a necklace that I had to get fixed and cleaned up that jewelry before close. I’m so excited because now my sister can borrow this family heirloom and I could not be any happier. This place gives the touching care that I feel like was forgotten.
