Filthy Animal/Dog world now. Actually like dogs but 4 out of the last 6 times we have been there, we have witnessed gross events. These RESPONSIBLE animal owners allow their dogs to urinate and drop a load right in the middle of the floor where we enjoy food and goodies. Dog owners let their dog pee then walk away laughing. Dogs walk by the food court squirting diarrhea. Wow. Even when the owners somewhat clean up, it's still nasty. Eating an icecream or goodies is awful when a dog drops a load next to you. Many times now we have had to ask the people from the jewelry store in the center to request maintenance. Sometimes we just throw napkins on the urine ourselves. Signs saying service dogs only but still, one can find 2 of the 6 dogs having a growling standoff at times. Might take a small innocent child getting bit before management does something about the issue. We are at the mall just about every evening to enjoy an icecream or coffee hanging out to relax. But lately, we're looking for another place to enjoy after experiencing too many episodes of dog relieving. Maintenance crew takes pics of the messes but WHEN will management do something to make it safe and sanitary again? Getting out of hand and hearing shop owners and frequent visitors we have gotten to know, we're all getting sick if the nasty environment. Security just wallaby looking at the several dogs that are obviously not...
ย ย ย Read moreWell, here's the deal. I feel strongly about making this known and I'm not trying to campaign against the mall but there have been several mid profile car break-in's within the parking garages of this establishment.
I have not personally witnessed these crimes, but people let me tell you- not a week goes by that I don't see something in my social media feed regarding shattered glass , tire lug nuts missing, an entire car on blocks? oh yeah. It's crazy to think that the West Covina Police Department is literally across the street too, but that's just an observation- I reserve my judgement for the obvious.
As I grew up, this mall was a staple to my teenage years in such a way that malls are, and it's almost historical level of influence this had on me and my friends, however- with the recent string of crime , and just the weather of age on my conscious and soul, this mall is figuratively and perhaps even literally a shell of it's former self. Americana aside, this mall does have many great eateries and shops within, it just needs to be managed and dealt with a little better in my opinion.
It's a mixed bag to see how times have changed, and at least on social media in some circles this establishment is somewhat of a joke (the parking garage side), I have to refrain from starring this mall past 3 stars, it would break the rating system and nothing...
ย ย ย Read moreI've been coming to this mall since the late 70's , wow now I'm feeling old just saying that.. I always go to JCPENNEY or Macy's for those specials which they always Email me which is very nice .. I have a GNC membership here so occasionally I stop by but lately they're expensive so I order my protein powder and supplements on Amazon.. but this mall is a delight to come here , great atmosphere and kind people.. I notice during the hot summer days the elderly and in general those who do cardio like to walk through the whole mall to stay cool during those hot days .. bathrooms are always clean and stock with essentials. The food court is very well maintained and great choices to grab a bite to eat while shopping.. plenty of seating is available in the food court as well .. they're plenty of parking throughout this huge mall with security always doing their rounds to monitor this mall.. this mall is alongside the 10 fwy and just exit of Vincent Ave can't miss it.. overall a great mall to visit with so many stores to...
