I absolutely loved my one night stay at the Montrose at Beverly Hills on my recent trip. Room was very spacious, cute balcony, and even came with a fireplace. I can help you book this hotel at a discount just click my link in bio or message me. #westhollywood #losangeles #hotelroom #hotelreview #montrosebeverlyhills #montroseweho #montrose #beverlyhills #luxuryhotel #boutiquehotel #losangeleshotel #hotelroomtour #california #expediaaffiliate #expedia #vacation #staycation #fypage

This place is absolutely stunning it is beautiful the view from our balcony was amazing the palm trees and all... being that me and my husband are both from Boston The View was just incredible! I wish there wasn't you beds and rather just one bed but if that's all that you have to complain about then you can see that it was a great place, it was newly renovated so there was a lot of modern furniture walls .. there was a music theme with a guitar curtain furniture and it is just very trendy all around The food was pricey but amazing we got both of us a cup of coffee that total out to $15.33 our room service breakfast was definitely pricey but delicious we spent $96.00 on two plates of scrambled eggs turkey sausages French toast and a plate of fruit platter it came with two huge flat screen TVs in each room the bathroom was humongous with three sinks and a glass shower there was a gold seat with Incredible rugs the bed was very comfortable the pillows were perfect in the staff were very friendly down-to-earth and non-judgemental being that we don't fit The Usual Suspects of a hotel like this younger and us both Bostonians not familiar with the area and are heavy Boston accents they welcomed us with open arms we had a great time in this was probably one of the best highlights of our Los Angeles trip and I would definitely return here in the future I love it... The gentleman that worked in the cafe for coffees was so nice and great he took pictures with us for no problem and it was a fun time...

My mistake for booking something in a hurry and not reading the bad reviews first. Do not stay there before reading them. I had booked for 4 nights and checked out after 1 night. Had I not been so tired coming off a 12h flight,I would have left immediately. Check-in:professional,fast,all fine. Then approaching the elevators with greasy fingerprints and dirty carpets inside, one already gets a bad sense of what might come. Once opening the door of the room, the first thing one notices is this strong, disgusting, musty smell which is worst in the bathroom. I tried to open the balcony door to clear it out but immediately dozens of small flies entered (it was not dark yet). I knew immediately I was not going to stay here and that all my clothes would acquire that smell, so I did not even unpack.Think of the smell as the one in old, wooden, moist London houses. Carpets were not properly vacuumed, surfaces not properly wiped down and the shower was just disgusting. Why not clean it?Why?! It would be so easy! Then this extra charge that many before complained about for stuff that is obviously inherently part of a room rate, like facilities of the Hotel. Upon leaving, I was told it might be 14-21d for the remaider of the deposit to be released because of my international credit card-seriously, what a total lie and joke. That money better be released tomorrow or you can take it up with our lawyers. Thanks for ruining the beginning of my stay in LA, now luckily in a great Hotel.

Spent two nights there during Memorial Day week-end. We took the suite with a bedroom, living room and kitchenette since we went with the kids ans wanted quiet time after they were put to bed. Some things I loved, others I hated. Overall quite a disappointment for the price however... Things I liked: - Friendly staff - Location: walking distance from Santa Monica blvd - Space: our suite was as big as a small appartement - The pool: heated, and the view over Hollywood/LA was splendid Things I disliked: - Noise from inside: Noisy fridge, noisy AC. Both definitely needed maintenance. - Noise from outside: Good thing this place is in a quiet neighbourhood because the windows don't really block noise. - The kitchenette. Dated, but I was mostly disappointed to find no silverware or covers whatsoever (beside glasses and a bottle opener). This rendered the stove and microwave useless. - Parking. They charge 40$ per night in a neighbourhood where it's almost impossible to park at night because of the signs. That's clearly a way for them to milk more money from you. - You can tell everything is starting to show some age despite efforts. Bathroom had a humidity smell. (Really weird that the light was hooked on a timer, but the vent on a switch. Why no the other way around?)

The room we stayed in was spacious (had a queen bed and a sofa pull-out). Had an extremely large TV that was mounted to the wall and easily moveable so you could watch from the couch. The decor was great as well! The only thing that was lacking was that our balcony was covered by a tree so there wasn’t a lot of natural light and there were 5 lamps in the room to assist with lighting but most of them were yellow bulbs so most of the times it was a little “dark” The elevator only works if you have a key and I LOVE that as it prevents non-guests from coming up and down. We ate the pasta at the restaurant, and it was absolutely delicious, they even let us use the record player so we enjoyed some music while we ate (open until 10pm). The parking is $60 USD/night. We did not rent a car for this reason as it was cheaper for us to Uber. Everyone from guest services, house keeping, to the lovely man outside who assisted us with our suitcase were extremely friendly and nice (minus the one barista (male) who I encountered on my first morning, he had a bad attitude as he assisted another guest and I when we went for the complimentary coffee as we did not know where it was kept).

The Montrose is nestled in a quiet, residential neighborhood, and its design integrates into the area so well you could walk by it and never know it was a hotel if not for its non-obtrusive signage. It's just a short stroll from Sunset Boulevard, yet remains quiet in the evenings. My suite had a balcony which faced the main street. It was well-decorated with few indications of wear and tear, and featured a small gas fireplace in the sitting area that was nice in the cooler evenings. I most enjoyed the multi-level pool and tennis court areas, the latter of which had been revamped into a sitting area and small outdoor gym. I visited in late November, and the combination of direct sun and occasional breezes made it very comfortable. The former tennis court was situated a level higher than the pool and I don't think many people realized it had been converted, so I had it all to myself for hours on end. It offered a lovely view toward downtown LA, and was a great place to read in peace for a few hours.
