Observation Platform — Attraction in Westport

We just like to explore all the places we can. We were with this area because it was so different from where we live.

There seems to be a wild population of cats in this area that are tended to by a man we saw feeding and giving them water. There are also places to donate money so he can keep this up. There was a huge black tailless cat underneath the observation platform. There are other cats all along the huge boulders that keep the water back.

Fished from the Jetty, and had a great time catching Rockfish and Lingcod. Nightcrawlers were the ticket, as I was the only one using them and the only one catching anything. 4oz weight, with 12" leader. A bonus was watching dolphins nearby as I fished. I don't recommend bringing young children to the Jetty due to the rocks being somewhat difficult...

This is a really cool lookout. The view is nice. They day we went here the cats were out. We also saw some raccoons too. The most exciting thing was a family of others was swimming in the little cove. They went up the big rocks to their den too. It was fun to see so much wild life.
