Seafood Connection (On Float 8) — Attraction in Westport

First time in 1998, and every year since, I've been buying tuna, for canning, at this business. For all the years going there, once a year, Mr. Rich (RIP) was a truly pleasant and fair gentleman. His standards of customer services was exemplary. This year when I called to place my order, I learned of his passing. This Saturday, July 16/2016, when I went to pick up my order I received the worse customer service in my 57 years. From your new person Kevin all the way to the two new young women assisting: Their demeanor is condescending, arrogant and unwilling to accommodate long term customers like me. The young woman who helped me carry my load of tuna to the car, and knew of me from previous years, is very cordial, professional and willing to assist. Been to this place from time to time and the crab was always fresh EXCEPT this time I came in 1-8-16 I asked if it was fresh and cooked that day and the young girl said yes at 8.50 per lb only to drive all the way back to Tacoma to fined it was not fresh and in fact had been previously frozen and NOT freshly cooked, it was freshly thawed out in the sink, I also gave one to my neighbor that night and he came over today and said "I think this crab is bad" I was embarrassed and very disappointed for paying 40 buck for 3 crab I could have bout at Fredmeyers down the street for 5.77 per lb yeah thats right I drove over 200 miles for the same quality of crab and paid more thinking it was fresh considering the commercial crab season opened up on the 5th and thinking that there was fresh crab in west port only to fined out it had to be from some other season WHO DOS THIS???? again ver...

Driving around the area and stopped in a few weeks ago just to check them out. I ended up purchasing crab, halibut, salmon and canned tuna! All the fish was spectacular and I'm headed back this weekend for more! They are right when they say try their canned tuna and you'll never buy regular canned tuna again! The texture and the flavor are the best! Also, if you buy wild canned tuna in the stores (it still has additives) they are 5oz cans - these are 6oz cans so cost the same or even less depending on the brand. Although and hour+ drive away, this is now my "GO TO" place...
