Park Cinemas — Attraction in Winnemucca

2 screen theatre, it's like stepping back in time to the 80s. The projector is digital I think. The screen needs updating due to dirt or damage to the white screen, but better than nothing for a small town. The candy choice is good and price is good also. 3 bucks for a box of Whoppers candy. Not sure about popcorn taste or price. The icee machine was not on so couldn't try it. It would be perfect if the seats were updated to reclining seats like those at major cinemas, but having a theatre here is better than nothing at all. Not enough traffic thru here so not sure how the owner can pay the bills but it's very kind of him or her to keep the theatre going. Bring a pillow for the seat unless you have more cushion than I do :( I wish I had the money to donate updated seats to this theatre so the theatre is more attractive for movie goers. Would give it a 5 but sitting through Father Stu was a little bit painful on...

Watching Barbie was fantastic

The people at the snack table were rude, charged me 15 dollars for A bag of Takis, and wouldn't give me my change back. The popcorn tasted like plastic no matter how much seasoning I added it tasted like plastic and had black long hair in it, I know it wasn't mine because it was mixed in the popcorn. I feel ripped off and want the 35$ I paid for snacks back. I don't remember snacks being that expensive, the one thing I dread to discuss is the uncomfortable chair. I want my money back for the expensive snacks.

Classic feeling movie theater with old school charm and friendly staff, good popcorn and good selection of drink and snacks. It's a good time, always. The only drawback, is the seats. Uncomfortable, no headrest, worn down and just not much room between rows to sink in and get comfy. The prices are higher hear than out of town. If the seats were better, I'd be happy to pay what they are charging maybe even more. Others don't like only having 2 options because of only having 2 auditoriums, but I am indifferent to it. Maybe the owners could consider buying the hotel lot nextdoor and expand....
