My mama and I loves Hamrick’s! They have an array of beautiful clothing and most on sale. Yesterday, we purchased leggings which were only $5.00, a few blouses for $8.00 each. My mama bought a gorgeous pair of red pants which had black glitter on each side. Fit perfectly and just right for Christmas! Only $15.00! This store sells just about anything, even men’s wear and shoes as well as children’s shoes and of course ladies shoes. I went yesterday looking for the same shoes I purchased around Thanksgiving and the clerk said it was a popular item and had sold out completely. Agggh! Anyhow those Sketchers will soon show up as holidays end. I really enjoyed how the ladies throughout the store helped myself, as well as my mom. This lady in the back helped my mama a lot she took time with her until finally found what my mama was looking for. She deserves a Star ⭐️! What I disliked yesterday around 11ish in the morning was the clerk who checked us out. My mama was joking with her about not having enough money, etc...and trying to make a smile on her face opposed to a frown, but it never worked. I’ve been to this store A Lot, this was the first time our clothes was just thrown into the bag, not folded! We came home and my mamas pretty red pants for Christmas was all wrinkled! This clerk was the second from the front of the store, she was somewhat short with grayish/blonde hair with a frown, NOT liking her job as a clerk at all. I was very disappointed with the way my items were handled and we spent $328 something in clothes, shoes, a down comforter, quilt set, small vacuum cleaner, socks, and a lot of those gift items. I would be aware of this clerk and if I’m ever in line again and she’s for me, I’ll let someone else ahead of me to avoid her as she could careless about your...
Read moreI visited here around 7:30 on a Saturday evening to return some thing that I had bought from the Greensboro location. I originally planned to stop back by the Greensboro location, but I wanted to stop by here again. I had came by here before when I first heard of Hamricks from my cousin. to me, it reminds me of a discount store like Burlington or TJ Maxx, or Big Lots. Most of the items are decently priced. I know that I got some shoes that were similar to Sperrys from here turn my first visit about 2 months ago. They have prescriptions to write the store. I noticed that many of the items does not have a price listed. The store is divided into different departments or areas. There is a sign above hanging from the ceiling to help guide you in case you want to go to a specific area.
I browsed for a little bit just to see what they had. I had had no intentions on really buying anything, but you never really know. Check out can be a little difficult. The line starts in one of the aisles and supposed to go down it and around the right so that it loops around. I feel like they need to have an arrow pointing to the direction of the line because the sign is hanging from the ceiling doesn’t make it very clear. I was standing thinking I was next in line, but really, I was not at all.
Vanessa was the cashier who processes my return. It was a quick and easy process, and she was very friendly and polite. She stated everything that she was doing and how the refund would be processed. I use my credit card to make the purchase and I had needed it to get the refund. I grabbed the wrong credit card , so the right one was in my car. Nonetheless, I went to grab it from my car and she was patient until I returned. Many options here and I...
Read moreI shop Hamricks regularly for Purses, wallets, shoes and sometimes jewelry. It is hit or miss. If you aren’t there for sales when the doors open, it’s likely I won’t the find the 3 things I am looking for. Associates are half mostly kind in service. Tim in shoes is very helpful. THE BIG THING THAT BOTHERS ME IS THE DISCRIMINATION. I CANNOT BUY CLOTHES THERE! I am 63 years old 5’2, 106 lbs. One cannot buy SIZES XS or sizes 0, 1,2,3 and rarely a 5. Each time I encounter small women like me when I am there that seem equally as frustrated!! Many I know have stopped shopping there for this reason. If sales are on, You need to get to check out before lunch because the line is backed up out the back entrance door in the hallway of the mall. The cashiers work hard but can’t move any faster. Overall, now I’ve had to quit shopping there often because I cannot get home in time to get home to granddaughter in bed for her lunch and nap in a timely manner. REALLY WISH THE SIZE DISCRIMINATION NEEDS TO STOP!! IT IS AWFUL. Do like their...
