Having stayed here on several occasions in the past, we witnessed an alarming deterioration in maintenance and hygiene:
Could not shower without flooding the bathroom, because the shower seals have degraded: falls risk Mould in shower: health hazard Broken washing machine that kept stopping mid-cycle. Clothes dryer's lint filter looked like it hadn't been cleaned for months: fire risk Cracked ensuite basin Broken air conditioner vent that is stuck pointed at your head all night, which gave me sinusitis. Curtain not retracting fully, causing it to bang against the window all day long Dirty blankets that aggravated our dust mite allergies - disappeared after we hand-washed them ourselves Blood stain on bedsheet Giant hole in chair - my daughter fell through and hurt herself Half the kitchen lights not turning on No mattress protectors, which is so unhygienic for a high-turnover holiday apartment Used sanitary pad left in a drawer!
And all of this was in a 'Superior' room @ over $700/night.
Worst of all was the dismissive gaslighting by Lucy at the reception desk: 'You're paying for the view, not the room. It's an old building.' 'Nobody else has complained.'
We agreed to document all the issues, but she didn't even acknowledge, let alone respond, to the email.
Stay away from this place: it's a filthy, disgusting operation run by seemingly friendly, smiling but ultimately incompetent people.

Read moreMy family and I were very disappointed with the way we were spoken to and treated by the managers they came across aggressive from the first meeting. They knocked on the apartment door that we were staying in (myself, my fiancé, my mum and my 84 year old grandma) after she received a noise complaint from music coming from our apartment. (At 9:30 am on Friday) My fiancé answered the door and asked them to wait by the front door and she will go and get me to speak with them. With no notice and with the extra key they have then proceeded to barge through the apartment walking straight up to me with a bad attitude and look of rage. Unauthorised entry, after my partner had asked them to wait at the door , asking not to reduce the volume but turn it of because it “was not allowed to play music there” was the answer of her and sum up she said if we don’t do that we would be asked to leave the premises loading the booking and all the money +the bond, what I think is unfair due to in the booking they mention reduce the noise between 9pm to 7am that why I think mention the time and day was important, so really disappointed...
Read moreI had booked my room for 3 nights and Lucy (The Manager) rang me to let me know my payment didn't go through which was fine I said I will transfer theoney right to so she could take the payment. But as I went on the online banking the whole system was down and could transfer the money. So I had called her back to advise her the situation and she was soo rude about the situation and said that's the bank problem not the hotels. You booking is now cancelled! Not impressed by the professionalism I had received and will ne booking through this hotel ever again! I will be advised in all family and friends the horrific experience I had received.
