El Jardin de Su Merced B&B — Hotel in Municipio Sucre

We loved our stay at this tranquil guest house. It's a beautiful old house, lovely garden and friendly hosts. The location is just a few blocks further than most of the city center action, which makes it convenient, but quiet. ||Breakfast didn't include anything hot like eggs, but the jam was delicious as was the fresh-squeezed orange juice. ||The rooms are charming and with new bathrooms, but we were initially staying in a room where the bed shared a wall with the bed of the room next door. The walls are very thin and after a few frustrating nights of bad sleep due to loud babies and loud movies, we paid a small amount more per night for the junior suite which was an excellent call. The new room haf two windows so didn't get as chilly as the first room (we asked for space heaters but there were none) and the bed doesn't share a wall so we slept soundly. ||The property is the real highlight. Amazing B&B right in the heart of Sucre while feeling like a private little oasis. ||Carmen is a wonderful hosts and goes out of her way to ensure that your stay in Sucre is as special as possible. ||Lovely breakfast served in a beautiful courtyard/garden area. This is simply one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. Airy, sunny rooms cooled by gentle breezes high above the city.
