Kaiseki has decent Japanese food for Sucre and Bolivia. But if you're going to claim to offer another culture's cuisine, please take care with the quality and preparation. We visited this "sushi" restaurant on our first night in Sucre. The service was fine. However, the staff only speaks Spanish, which is fine in Bolivia. But certainly, Spanish is not the only language spoken in sushi restaurants. And not all tourists can speak Spanish. This is probably why so many reviews for this restaurant had misunderstandings for their orders. But we ordered our food without any issues. The sushi was mediocre at best, and the ramen was just fine, but the noodles were not authentic for Japanese ramen. We ordered one tempura roll and salmon roll with picante mayonnaise. I recommend avoiding both of these sushi rolls. The taste was uninspired and quite heavy on the carbs for sushi. And this restaurant needs to know that real Japanese restaurants DO NOT charge for extra wasabi and ginger! Unlimited amounts of both are included with dinner! Again, if you're going to serve another culture's food, know the customs! Overall, if you're desperate for Japanese, this restaurant is not a bad option in Sucre. But this will be our only visit.
