One great experience. One bad experience.
We visited Bienmesabe two days in a row. Our first evening was great. The arepas are tasty and cost 25 bolivianos. If you don't want a crispy shell go for the much larger cachaca (30 bolivianos). I personally liked the arepas better. The food took 15 mins to prepare - which makes sense as Bienmesabe makes the food fresh.
We enjoyed the food and returned the next day. We were the only customer in the restaurant at the time. It took over 45 minutes for us to receive our arepas. Two sets of people came in after us (one couple came in ~20 mins after us) and received their food first. When our food finally did arrive the order was incorrect.
I know good, fresh food takes time. But 45+ minutes is not acceptable for an arepa. Especially when the food we finally receive is not even...
