Cabaña Galvarino, Puerto Natales — Hotel in Puerto Natales

I am very grateful to the owners of Hostal Galvarino for saving me from sleeping on the street!||I hadn't booked to stay in this hostal, but I arrived from Torres del Paine on the late bus into Puerto Natales at 11pm. I had booked to stay next door, but even though I had advised of my late arrival the place was in darkness and no one was there to let me in.||The light was on in Hostal Galvarino and so I went in and luckily they had one room left. The room was a small single, only enough space for a single bed, but it was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was downstairs, but again it was very clean. The room was the equivalent £20 for the night, so it was good value.||The main reason for my excellent rating was the fact that had it not been for the lovely owners I would have been wandering the streets of Puerto Natales after 11pm looking for a bed for the night. For this reason alone I would stay again. ||The room I had was small, but it was clean, comfortable and reasonably priced, perfectly adequate for...

I needed a place that was quiet and comfortable and this place is perfect for that. Nice beds and shower. Friendly and helpful vibe. Close to the restaurants downtown but outside of the tourist thrum. Helpful in getting me to the airport. Cute dog on...
