Hospedaje Maria — Hotel in Puerto Natales

We booked this place through Expedia and while there were no reviews we took a gamble anyways - and it paid off.||||The cost through Expedia was 18,000 CLP for a double, shared baths. There are two full bathrooms for four bedrooms, and getting into a bathroom was never a problem. The room was very clean and the breakfast was one of the better ones we've had so far. ||||The host doesn't speak much English, but is really sweet and helpful, even if she is a bit shy.||||The B&B is a bit out of centre of town, but since Puerto Natales is so small it takes about 5 mins easy walking to get to the main area. We paid 25000 CLP/night for a double bedroom with shared bathroom. Rooms are super clean, well decorated, and had very comfortable beds with plenty of blankets, and a wall heater. The two shared bathrooms are clean, spacious, and had plenty of hot water. ||Typical simple breakfast is included. Wifi is good, and stronger in the common area. Location is quiet and 10-15 minute walk from Navimag drop off point and bus station. Good restaurants and markets nearby.||Note this is not a hostel. Nos alojamos en Hospedaje María la noche anterior a nuestro viaje a Torres del Paine y luego la noche en la que volvimos de allí.||El lugar es una gran casa con varias habitaciones. La atención es buena, la dueña es una señora mayor que puede parecer fría pero en realidad es muy amable y se le puede preguntar cualquier cosa y recibir una respuesta útil y cordial. ||Estuvimos en dos habitaciones dobles diferentes, las dos con buena calefacción, cama cómoda y espaciosas. La primera noche no nos dieron toallas, la segunda sí.||Hay dos baños compartidos entre todas las habitaciones (que no deben ser más de cuatro). Cuando fuimos nosotros no había toalla ni papel para secar las manos, ni jabón para bañarse. Tengan cuidad con la bañera del baño más grande ya que es extremadamente resbaladiza y peligrosa. Recomiendo usar el otro baño para ducharse.||El desayuno es bueno y completo, además no tienen problema en servirlo a las 6 o 6:30 para quienes deben tomarse un bus temprano.||No usamos la cocina porque tenía un horario restringido y sólo permitían cocinar pastas y arroz.||La ubicación es muy buena. Está cerca tanto de la terminal de buses como del centro y del Unimarc.||Una gran ventaja es que cuando sales a comprar, comer, pasear, etc. te permiten llevarte la llave de la habitación y de la casa, con lo cual se tiene mucha libertad. Y además permiten dejar mochilas o bolsos durante los días que sea necesario (sin ningún costo), en caso de que tengas cosas que no deseas llevar a Torres del Paiine.||Es un buen lugar para estar tranquilo, descansar y tener espacio para poder hacer los preparativos para el viaje a Torres del Paine.
